Ahhhhhh yessssss.......... seems like everytime i take a break from da planet, Omar retouches the landscape around here!!!!!1 Kinda like the look the site has.... really functional ... and has many more forums than back in the day..... I guess you could say tha the Planet has grown up a bit..... For awhile there it seemed like the peeps on the Planet had flatout lost their way....... The site was becoming a bootycall hookup spot, a daycare, and so so much sexual innuendo being thrown out there that old vets like me were kinda just hangin' in the cut.......... So now I say, " WELCOME BACK BLACKPLANET !!!!!!! "


Props go out to Kobe and the Lake Show gettin the damn thing done out there in LaLa Land....Whoever said Kobe can't win Without Shaq? !!!!!! Well the first time MVP is doin the damm thang!!!!!!! I don't know about yall, but was it me, or was this seasons 'American Idol' kinda like 'what the hell..."? First off, ther was very little Black representation... and the ones they did pick for the 24 you had to know were not going to hang around too long.... Syesha did her thang... but they didn't want another Clay-Reuben finish, so they settled on a rocker vs. a clean-cut choirboy straight outta SLC (holla!!!.......... I mean, Holler!!!!) The public surprised the hell outta me when they finally picked a rocker....... but check it-- they have picked a rep in most of the popular music genres except Rap/Hip-hop......... get my meanin' yet? And you' girl Paula serves no purpose..... (sorry bout that.... she does have excellent taste when it comes to da grapes!!!) Simon is fast becoming 'Utterly Reprehensible'........ and yo dawg Randy.....well......... (lol !!!!)

Looks like Venus and Serena have pretty much made up their minds about this tennis thing...... .Both get eliminated on the same day in the same round..... Methinks it's time for the sistas to do somethjing else and leave the fine art of slappin balls behind.... besides, the ladies do have other talents-- and when you think about it, the last time any of us have spent time followin' somethin' bouncy is a bad check 1 day before payday!!! Big props ladies-- it was a nice run!!!!!!!!



Can this really be happenin? In 2008.... Barack Obama......... Democratic National candidate for the Presidency of the United States? Fo' reals? i didnt think I would live long enough to see Black (or somewhat) front-runner....... some peps think Hilary still has a shot...whaddya thinkin' out there?This just might be out bestest and brightest and possibly lastest chance to completely change the fabric of this country.... Any thoughts of who Obama's runnin' buddy should be? Yall know America... Are we ready.... or is this 'just an illusion ooh ooh ooh ooh ahhh). Just keepin' a bug in yo' ears....!!!! just make sure you do the right thing and get out there and vote and be heard !!!!!!!



Summertime.......... and the livin is ....... easy? Who said ?!!!! By now, most of us have gotten their 'Economic Stimulus package'......and I bet most of us used it for exactly the opposite reason the Bushwhacker gave it to us to do..... I say ' WTF....' we were probably owed that cash back from many many moons before.... there's no one wise way to use the cash.... buy a car.... pay some bills...... hit Vegas......hell, you may even want to-- do I dare say-- SAVE it....... but whatever you do, don't et caught up in one of those "WE WILL TRIPLE YOUR MONEY' scams....... Finally-- To all my Black folks....... Realize that when we finally figure it out like the rest of the minority ethnic groups out there, We will be taken a hell lot more serious politically, econoically, and morally... In otherwords, 'STOP HATIN' and learn how to play the game!!!!! (smiles)
