The story " Elan" was inspired by my father Michel Cesaire, who past away on March 18, 2006. During his service in the army he was faced with similar challenges, that are in the script. That he once express to me, prior to his depart.
Michel Jr. Cesaire a film and video major of the Academy of Art College, in San Francisco, who worked on projects such as "Sunshine", shot in San Francisco, "Deceived" shot in Manhattan and "One" that was shot at the spring valley court house, featuring special guess appearance, as jurors, Judge Thaxston and his wife.
The Story Elan
In a World full of chaos and obstacles " lan" is a glimpse of a once heavenly world, that is either on the verge of extinction or at a critical turning point for survival. We follow the story of "Dejavou", a beautiful business woman, devoted wife and Mother, whose husband is framed and sentence to life in prison, forcing Dejavou to quickly learn how to run her husband, most popular nightspot in town, to survive with her six year old daughter lan. As she is constantly having to escape wealthy, powerful business man Appolyon barriers, whose affiliation with the underground, and political connections manage detaining Dejavou's husband Tyson. Much to Dejavou's surprise, an old companion, Amore arrives with a plan to free Tyson for good. Although Dejavou is very bitter towards Amore, who testified against his closest friend and business partner Tyson during his trial and tribulation, but when she learns he had good reason to, Dejavou, Tyson, and Amore set out a plan to flee Appolyon together for good.
