Miss Layda better known as Layda comes from a family of many talents as well as very multi cultural, her mother of Jamaican dissent, a fashion designer. Her father of French and Scottish dissent is a computer technician and web designer, movie writer and music producer. There is no doubt she would be who she is, one of the best to be out there. Layda has the talents of rapping, singing, dancing along with obvious good looks she is a triple threat. Rapping since she was seventeen and singing since she was twelve picked up a pen at the age of twelve , writing songs about love and struggle at the age of fourteen. Layda has over the years performed at, Brown girls in a ring at Reverb, Import fest 4 yrs in a row at the Metro convention center and the downs view park, and the Sky dome hosted by Morris Peterson of the Toronto raptors, and Funk master flex at one time as well, Foxy Brown and Baby sham at the Government, urban noise, Bounty killer these are all live show performances at six to seven minute time frames and Layda holds it down. She's done collaborations with many artists, to name a few King spade, Black eye RIP, Tef and Do on a Beats 4 life productions Tex walker and Shampaine on smoke shops productions, Joe guns on boy wonder productions, she has also has done work with ATG, Reez, and Bama from the Black fam on an Impala Huston productions. Right now she is in preparations to do a banger with Unkle morey known as mayhem. Layda has also directed her music video that has been featured on King of the city volume 4 ft Tex and Shampaine.
