I want a man that I can LOVE, that I can call my own; A man that needs to hold me as soon as he gets home. A man that sees inside me and still calls me his baby; And knows that whatever happens I will always be his lady. I need a man to stand beside me, who knows I`ve got his back; And if I`m falling short I know he’s picking up the slack. A man that I can trust and know that he is mine; Who`s quick to set me straight when I get out of line. A man that feels secure because he knows his girl is true; Who laughs when other men stare, knowing that`s all that they can do! I need a man that shares his thoughts because he knows I hold them dear; And tells me the dam truth, not what he thinks I want to hear. I need a man that`s decisive and knows what he wants to be; Who tells me when something bothers him, especially when it`s me. I need a man with swagger; that carries him self with style, Who can always make me laugh and can turn a frown into a smile. A man whose body is as hard as a rock, not necessarily sculpted with precision; But can make me stay home and turn off Lifetime television! I need a man that has taste and likes the way I cook; Loves the woman I am and likes the way I look. A man who light up my work day by sending me a bouquet of flowers, And who does not refer to the terms “my” or “your”, because everything is “Ours”.
