personal message

I am grateful and bless by God to have the courage let others read my thoughts and hopeful you (will/have) enjoyed reading my words.  Some of my work . . .

My Well

My well overflows with love each time

I think about you and what you do for me

Your passion ignites the very core of my soul

With hope and desire to always be that

Part of which you are the depth and spiritual

Connection that makes us one together

My well overflows with happiness and gladness

Each time I look into your eyes and through

Your inner core to know I am apart of your fabric

Overflowing is my well with pride and richness

That the thought of me brings tears of joy to you

You're the strength and toughness that I

Desire and need to get through each day that

I breathe on this earth and each day that I appreciate

You as you are my support and my backbone

My well overflows with love always . . . for you.

I have been blessed to have published a book of poems and interesting in writing a screenplay which I am now working on.  I am divorced and single looking for a friend who accepts me for who I am as I am.  No one is perfect and everyone has their own taste.  I do date but I'm not an avid dater, patiently waiting for him whom I believe is my fit.  In the meantime I am getting to know me and working on me.

Each day we are on the earth we should make some difference to ourselves and others. It doesn't matter on the size of the difference only that it does matter and is meaningful.

STRENGTH

I stood watching your every move
The way you moved in sync with the music
The way you lifted your head and
How you stretched your body and made
The funny faces when you heard laughter
I watched you take all of your pain and
Let it go emotionally with tears running down
Your face and how you screamed at the top
Of your lungs to express the depth of pain
You were in when you lost your inner spirit
I saw you fight with everything you had to
Make sure all... (continue reading)

What do men over 40 really want in a woman over 40?

Posted May 18th, 2008 at 12:02pm

Ok men over 40 this is your opportunity to tell us women over 40 what you really want in a relationship with a woman over 40. I am perplexed to know what it is that you like, love and hope for in women.

Do you even want to date, love or marry a woman who is your age or older?

What attracts you about the women in this age group?

I see plenty of men over 40 dating younger women instead of women in their age group. Especially African American men, I see a lot of you either... (continue reading)

Hard Working?

Posted May 12th, 2008 at 12:08pm

Now what the h.. is going on with Hilary Clinton? Why would she read a AP posting to explain why should she be nominated for president? I cannot fathom why her campaign staff ran by an African American woman would advise her to say the dumbest things like "hardworking white people" I guess we have to remind her of how her husband elected. I don't know what's going on with her and her campaign but she has ruffle a few feathers with that comment. What's next?

What would you do?

Say you wake up tomorrow and you were given the task of making three changes to the way this country is ran. What would be the changes and how would you go about implementing them?Do not take the easy way out think about your response to the questions. We should care what happens to our country because it's apparent that our President doesn't. It very important that everyone gets out to vote, make your vote count.

Are you tired of the news people, morning talk shows, political analysts telling you who and what you should vote for?

Well stop waiting around for others to speak for you and speak for yourselves. It's more important this year to be apart of the political scene because of all the important issues such as rising gas and food prices.

I'm encouraging... (continue reading)
