WELCOME TO THE BOHEMIAN SIDE OF THE PLANET

First and foremost I want to say: "TAKE ME AS I AM.I have a little one and if you can't handle that, you're in the wrong place.

My father named me after the mythical Egyptian firebird... the Phoenix; and just like the Phoenix I rise from the ashes and begin anew.

Life has taught me many lessons. I'm growing wiser, more mature, and becoming more of a woman. My point is I'm on my mature and grown woman, so keep it movin' if you're not on the same.

Currently I reside in Southeast DC (Benning Rd/E.Capital). My bloodline trails through Trinidad and Tobago.... "si i ah trini gyal"

Trini gyals wine de best dem, and so I love to dance. I also enjoy singing (in my shower and anywhere else I feel so moved). I like to read. I've moved up from reading nonsense to thought provoking literature. I enjoy doing cultural things. I am an art enthusist.... any form of art. Especially poetry as I myself am a poet and writer (as if you couldn't tell).

I am extremely spontaneous. I love to go out on a whim, however not in the teenage capricious way; I think things through!

If you can't tell I'm on another level...

Whatever comes of this site is what comes of it.... be they friends or more only time will tell.

Mature: This does not mean old,it means within my age bracket 19-26 and on a higher level than the rest of his peer group.

Physically Attractive: If I said that I wasn't interested in looks I would be lying . However, when I say that I am not shallow or obsessed with name brand, I am being honest. I love dark skinned males... they are the top pick. I love a man who wears his hair locked and for the right reasons (understands their symbolism). 5'8 and up. Athletic/ in shape. This is what I like; its not all that I'll accept, simply what I find attractive

Smart: Street smart. Book smart. A man that can hold his own no matter where we go or who we are entertaining.

I love someone that is eclectic... we can go to a wild party on Friday nite and still go to the Smithsonian on Saturday and have the same amount of fun.

I smoke ganja.... move on if thats not okay with you.

I have a spiritual life. I have principles. I have morals.

This is what it takes to qualify to be my friend.
