2 truths and a lieTwo of these are true about me. No joke. Which one's the lie? Take a guess...
personal message
A little about me:
- First and foremost, I am a Man Of God. - I love the Lord and I follow him as best as I can. - I am DEEPLY into Martial Arts. - I stay away from foolishness. - I'm a very peaceful person. - I try to make sure that my actions reflect my words. - I try to better myself so that I can help better others. - Oh, yeah. And I am only 5'6" tall. (Or short. However which way you look at it.) Likes: ~ Martial Arts ~ Reading. (Mainly Detective Novels. Fav. Fictional Detective: Det. John Corey of the ATTF.) ~ Watching Movies. (No. Not just Martial Art and action films.) ~ Listening to music. ~ Jazz Clubs. Likes in Women: ~ Mature and Intelligent. (I don't put this first for show. Its a neccessity.) ~ A relationship with God. ~ Has something that she is very passionate about. ~ Not lazy. ~ Values common sense... and uses it as well. ~ Family oriented. ~ Strong minded (but not bull-headed.) Dis-likes: ~ Clubs. (The ones with all the loud rap music and violence.) ~ Huge crowds. ~ High Gas prices.
Dis-likes in Women: ~ Smokers. ~ Not big on drinking. But if it's under control, cool. ~ Tatoos. (I can mange, but I'd rather not.) ~ Foul mouths. Profanity. ~ Excessive ebonics. (Time and a place people. Time and a place.) ~ Excessively loud. *shudders* ~ Disrespectful. ~ Revealing clothing. ~ Girls. (I only date Women.) I reside in Riverdale, Ga., which is about a half hour from Atalnta. I work as a mentor and instructor for a program called Raising A Black Belt. It is, as mentoined, a mentoring program that is geared towards the young males who live in inner city Atlanta. The curriculum of the program incorporates the teaching and training of Martial Arts as well as teaching the young men the life skills that are neccessary for young men to know. It's a new program that is rappidly spreading throughout different areas of Atlanta. We have a Myspace Account about our program as well. It's: http://www.myspace.com/raising_blackbelt I do have a few goals that I want to reach. As a matter of fact, one of them was to be able to incorporate my skills and love for the Martial Arts into a positive and practical way for helping young men have the chance to grow into a man that is a valuable asset to his comunity. As per the first paragraph, I am well on my way in doing so. Another goal (or, for now, a dream) of mine is to be able to participate in the Olympics as a Martial Artist at some point. (However, unless the Olympics' decides to someday incorporate Kung Fu onto the roster of styles permitted to compete, this goal may very well only be a dream. But there is hope.) And that pretty much covers the basics. If anyone has any questions or inquiries for me, please feel free to hit me up and ask. Alright. Let me state that this page is not neccessarily a "Looking for a Woman" ad. I simply put my likes and whatnot so as to avoid the corny "So what do you like in a woman?" question that inevitably makes it's way into a "conversation." Just wanted to get that out of the way.
****This is all in good fun!!****
Women Are Never Satisfied: A group of five woman were walkin around the city one day when they passed by a newly finished 6 story building. There was a sign that caught their eyes tha read: 'Find the Man of Your Dreams Here'. The ladies reacted with much enthusiasm as they entered the building. photos (11)favorite artists on bp

recent blog postsLove At First SightPosted August 14th, 2008 at 03:55am Love at First Sight
Do you believe in Love at First Sight? I don't. At least, I don't anymore. Or rather, to be more specific, I no longer do because I now know it to truly exist. The line between believing and knowing, however wide it may or may not be, has been crossed a long time ago. So merely "believing" in it simply doesn't do for me anymore. I know. I have seen it. And it is nothing like what the movies or your night-time drama television shows depict.... (continue reading) ContradictionsPosted March 04th, 2008 at 07:10pm
