THE MR. CHAP MORNING SHOW LIVE [THE BEST DAMN TEST SHOW PERIOD]

Posted September 03rd, 2008 at 03:59pm

We hit the airwaves today with plans to test the ol' skills. Mind you, it's been a minute since we rocked BTR with the other night being the first time in months. HOWELEGANT, ICULURKING, SHANCOLE, and two of my favorite Canadians, KEICIA and MIDNIGHT stopped through and graced us with their presence. I was gonna blog this, but I decided to ask the question on the air...Would you sleep with your boss for advancement? Male or female, old or young, Black or white?... (continue reading)

RANDOM THOUGHTS: CUSTOMER SERVICE BLUES

Posted September 01st, 2008 at 03:26am

Have you ever had anyone ask you to call their utility or any other company simply because they can't do it? I can't believe how many SSN's, birthdays, bank account numbers, mother's maiden names, and addresses I'm in possession of. Yeah, I keep 'em. There's almost a sense of power knowing that I have lives in my hand. I don't mind doing the favor for people. It's just amazing how many people don't have the scruples to make a phone call. I think being able to call customer... (continue reading)

Around here, the weather is so humid, people dress for comfort rather than style. Me being a city guy, can't grasp that concept. I'd... (continue reading)

RANDOM THOUGHTS: TO ALL THE PRESIDENT BUSH HATERS...

Posted August 22nd, 2008 at 10:47am

You know what? I'm tired of people dissing President Bush. Who would you rather have had in office? Weak-ass Gore, or lame-ass Kerry?

Man, we would've been a part of the Republic of Canada by now. Don't get me wrong, I like Canada. They got free health care. (But) you need President Bush, like everyone else in this world does. Who else would've removed the threat in Iraq and train the Iraqi people to defend their land? Who else would've given us... (continue reading)

RANDOM THOUGHTS: HOMER PLESSY VS. THE STATE OF LOUISIANA

Posted August 15th, 2008 at 11:28am

On June 7 1892, 30-year-old colored shoemaker Homer Plessy was jailed for sitting in the "White" car of the East Louisiana Railroad. Plessy was one-eighths black and seven-eighths white, which was enough for them to consider him black enough to sit his %#&@$! in the colored section. Plessy went to court and argued that the Separate Car Act violated the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution. The judge at the trial was John Howard Ferguson, former...
