personal message'A man cannot change the world around him alone, but through God, he can change the world within him.' -Paul McCoy
I decided to take a moment to change up some things on my message area. At first, I had placed some poetry here for my friends and potential friends to enjoy, but I have a lot of my work at www.poetry.com, so if you want to read my stuff, go there and search for Paul McCoy in the poet search field. Also, please rate the pieces you read... I am trying to win some money, too. ;) Anyway, I wanted to share something of great importance with my friends here: I wanted to talk about where we stand, in my eyes, as people. Now, I am not being racially specific here, I am looking at the human race as a whole and how the races are losing morally and spiritually each day. Right now, we are all at war: not just the war that involves soldiers oversees, but the war with a force that many consider to be non-existent, yet each day it shows itself in media, on the Internet and even when you go out your very door. It has infiltrated our homes, our places of business, worship and leisure. It has utilized man's ignorance of it to utterly give man the rope to hang itself, and man tightens the noose with every moment, yet man still thinks that it is in control of its fate. We have become so decadent and listless with our journey through life because we have been forever distracted by life's illusionary pleasures and now that we have the ability to reach out and touch each other world wide, the ability to spread subtle and profound chaos has became so much easier. I have found that many of God's men and women of purpose are being snuffed out by the Enemy. Each piece is being strategically removed from the table... person by person, and the Enemy is using the tools of our own development to do this. See, we are becoming so dependent on technology and innovation, that we have forgotten about the need to morally and spiritually evolve, so we have remained stagnant for thousands of years in our own malevolence. It is not that we lack the ability to gain spiritual momentum, but we lack the will. Many of God's people are falling prey to this... I was one of them, my friends. I, like many of those in life made a sacred vow to the covenant and strayed, but I was also SO lucky to see it in time, but NOT without having to die in the process; but I digress. (I will tell that story another time.) This is not a poke at religion as a whole; while we have associated the word to God and church, religion has also been defined as a strict method of doing things. This is only a request to look and think: the world is morally dying, people which is dragging us further and further from the truth. The Enemy is getting ready to strike and strike hard and what makes it so deadly is that we are its weapon of choice AS WELL AS its target. You don't have to take anything I say as anything but me talking, yet take a moment to look for yourself. If you think that this world and we as a people are fine, that is acceptable. If you don't, then it is time to look into changing your world. There are so many examples to this that it would take a BIG book to write them all down... even just part of them would require much writing and reading. You see it everyday and everywhere you go, and if you aren't sure, just turn on your TV or fire up your computer and hit the web... its all there waiting for you. I guess that the question of how do we change things comes into play. I have thought it out and have concluded that this entity has has eons of practice and growth under its belt and also has hired countless individuals to its cause; those that were willing and others that aren't even aware that they are helping in the consequential destruction of mankind. All I have found is that I must re-establish my covenant and clean out my house first and foremost before I can try to help anyone with anything, but with God, ALL things are possible, so I have faith that we will reclaim our destined place. It will; however, take time because it took years upon years to get away from the Garden, and it will take time to get back. I welcome your additions, comments, whatever you feel like expressing... keep in mind that this is only me talking about what I'm talking about, so don' t think that I am trying to make you or anyone think like me. You have your own mind, use it as you see fit. God Bless and keep you. Create a playlist with this song on imeem friends (38) |

In every aspect of life on this planet, there is a sense of balance between things. Nature seeks balance with all life on earth, and vice versa, yet since the beginning when all was in balance, a simple thought lead to a simple action which in turn brough so much out of balance. Throughout biblical history we have read of many senses of inbalance between God and man, resulting in a need to re-balance. Sometimes the balance was subtle, while others were drastic, but all were purposed and... Today was the day that I buried my mother. That doesn't even seem like something that I would be saying for another 20 more years or so. Something that I thought that I was prepared for. When I was 15 or so and realized that my mother WOULD die someday, I tried to get a grip on that truth for 20+ years, and I can say that I failed that task. I watched her fade from me for 12 days... 12 days of suffering, wasting away moment by moment and realizing that I was powerless to do anything...
