I am pursuing my joint degree J.D/LL.M. (Juris Doctor/Masters of Law in Health Care/Benefits Law. I currently work in the Human Resources field. School and work consumes most of my free time and volunteering or giving back to my community consumes the rest. But you know what they say...you make time for things that are important. People often say I am an enigma. I am pretty laid back and extremely easy to talk to. I love music. I think there is a song for every moment and major period during my brief existence on earth. Music is indeed food for my soul. I am also a huge sports fan. I love basketball, football, baseball, and futbol (soccer). I believe that Black Men are not loved enough anymore. We as(black women)need to realize that they are smart beautiful powerful beings. We as black women need to have their backs more. We complain that there are not enough good black men out here but when we get one we don`t know what to do with them. We either sweat, chase, or scare them away. Or we bring drama. We need to believe, nurture, and understand them". Be that woman that he can talk to.

Black men,you have to start treating black women better as well. You have to understand that we have become systematically and socially tainted but within our inner core still lies beauty. Help us find that. We are your mothers, sisters, grandmothers stop looking at us for just sex or feel you have to get a white woman just because we are not submissive, we are strong women...360 degrees

I must say that I have learned through experience that it is the simple things in life that matter most. People always ask me what I want and it`s simple: time, understanding, appreciation, respect, faith, and love.

I`m a sports fanatic. I love basketball, Die-Hard Lakers fan..yes I LOVE KOBE..football, and baseball. I love going to museums & plays,shopping (of course), dancing, being a free-spirit, poetry sets, concerts, photography, and basketball games. A relaxing day to me is taking a hot bubble bath with candles all around my tub. With some Coltrane, Charlie Parker,Love Below or Bob Marley playing lightly in the background with my someonewashing my back and feet.
