"JUST KEEPING IT REAL" SEARCHING FOR PEACE Have you ever felt trapped and locked, in a situation where everywhere you turn your path is blocked You reside in a world where happiness dont come in, the light you see is very dim You try to climb out with all your might, and you dont give up without a fight But only to fall back down, as you feel tired sad and lonely you look all around To find other things to get your mind off the situation, you buy clothes, jewelery, have sex or play playstion You may talk bad to someone close to you, only cause your not happy with you Hurt people hurt other people Dont worry there is an answer, God got the cure for cancer I think i can handle it myself, so full of pride to where i cant ask for help I'm always saying "i know, i know". but still running head first into the door I'll tell you " yeah i'm alright", but in the fetal position and cant sleep at night Walking around with my head held down, then i begin to shut down, with this sad %#&@$! frown. My spirit is turning flips, makes me wanna quit, in the mess i just sit The pain get so bad, that i get down on my hands and knees, and humbly pray to God who has all my needs. True Peace comes from within, i surrender i begin to win When i put God first, i begin to break the curse (of me killing me spirtually) I continue to pray and let God know that i know He's in charge, cause trying to do everything myself is very hard I begin the process of working on me, i get rid of the burdens thats killing me I break the chains thats been holding me back, "I'm free", i smile, cause i never experience love like that Like i said true peace comes from within, do yourself a favor and let God in "LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE" Just because you know someone doesn`t mean you love them, and just because you don`t know people doesn`t mean you can`t love them. You can fall in love with a complete stranger in a heartbeat, if God planned that route for you. So open your heart to strangers more often. You never know when God will throw that pass at you. . Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear. Dont cry over someone who wont cry over you. Actions speak louder than words. Dont frown, you never know whos falling in love with your smile. What do you do when the person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you cry? I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. I say, It's in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. Men themselves have wondered What they see in me. They try so much But they can't touch My inner mystery. When I try to show them They say they still can't see.
