⿿Are you crazy?⿝ I yelled, rushing toward the bathroom door. He followed closely on my heels. As he grabbed the knob, I was able to lock it. I noted the look and color of his eyes as our eyes met.
They were reddish gray with rage in the corner.
⿿Open this door, you %#&@$!ing %#&@$!. I promise I⿿m going to slit your throat,⿝ he warned, shaking the knob.
⿿Don⿿t catch a charge,⿝ I stammered. My warning went unheard.
⿿I⿿m going to strangle you.⿝
I gasped, holding my chest.
⿿I⿿ve kept detailed notes in a safe place,⿝ I said in a shaky voice. ⿿They⿿re going to know you were here.⿝

While I stood by the door trembling, Warryn got quiet. I debated making a bogus call to the police in order to make him leave peacefully, but my cell phone was on the other side of the door.
