personal message

Ms. Tausha has come a long way from being that little "country girl" performing her favorite songs in front of her Grandmother's mirror in her hometown of Greenville, SC. She's come even further from being the troubled young woman who allowed the lack of a relationship with her father to keep her in undesired circumstances. Despite the odds, she's always known that she was destined to be a singer. Being born during the hip-hop culture, Ms. Tausha had a passion for music that carried a strong beat. If the beat was "hot", then she was putting her own lyrics to it. For years, Ms. Tausha (also known affectionately as "Tot" by close friends and family), kept her talents of singing and songwriting hidden. While suppressing this urge she fell into a rebellious lifestyle. Even still, she wrote volumes of music in her spare time and dreamed of becoming a singer/songwriter/producer and performer. In 2003, Ms. Tausha began traveling back and forth to Atlanta, GA for vocal lessons. After giving her life to Christ in February 2006, her focus changed from writing secular music to writing lyrics that demonstrated biblical principles in real, everyday life experiences. She still digs her hip-hop/ R&B beats, but the messages that go along with them are for the purpose of praising and glorifying God. Ms. Tausha recently moved to Atlanta, GA; which put her in a better position to pursue what she feels God is calling her to do in ministry. Her mission in music is to proclaim the gospel of peace, her heart is to bring the lost back to the Lord, and her purpose throughout all of her assignments is to bring God all the glory!

Be Real

Posted

Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. (James 4:9-10)

Who are you trying to convince? Me, or you? How is it that you try to prove to people that you are happy if you were truly happy, wouldn't that show? Instead of spending time trying to convince people that you're happy, why don't you just "be" happy? Go on and admit it. Admit what everyone else already... (continue reading)
