Over the course of a 20-year career, Gerald Levert achieved celebrated status as one of contemporary soul's most accomplished singers and songwriters. He not only recorded a string of acclaimed Gold and Platinum albums, but he also performed with, and produced, some of R&B and soul's most recognized names, including Barry White, Stephanie Mills, Teddy Pendergrass, the Winans and Patti LaBelle among many others. Gerald's death is a loss to our entire community and he will be sorely missed.

his music yet holds a word of compasion. a soft touch of comfort to the heart if one is going threw something , his song identified and relate to life his songs holds value.not like so many songs today,i thank him for clean music and i thank GOD for allow us to have the pleasure to have known a great artist
