Zany Zane personifies the hip-hop generation X, a gully inspiration breaking the chains of stagnation. Mentally quick with a poetical gift to rip mics and uplift. His rhyme style can be described as unique, energetic, psychedelic and hardcore. Born in Orlando, Florida and raised in the Boston area, Zany now resides in San Diego. Zany Zane is a fighter in all manners of life, having dealt with stints of homelessness, prescription drug addiction, and a 27 month prison bid. At certain times in his life, his strong will and grit had him freestyling on street corners just to make ends meat. His songs " Medication Call", "Weirdo", and "Keep It Gory" push the envelope in terms of sick humor, psychological madness, shock value and sex appeal. Courageous and bold with no self imposed limits his flow is ruff and relentless. Zany's goal is to forge his own path in the industry by utilizing his high strung ghetto intution to help others rise above the negative urban influences. He recognizes the power of hip hop and what it can do to turn a person's life around. He is currently in the studio surviving off of beats, rhymes,barbecue chicken, st.ides and chocolate tye in preperation for his street album debut.
