He credits all artists who have come before him from Stevie Wonder and Luther VanDross to Brian McKnight and Usher. The Orange, TX native is a strong willed and very determind young man. "I lost my father back in 2001 and it was a very painful time in my life", the R&B singer recalls. "He was my best friend and still to this day it hurts just to know that he is gone." This young man has a big heart and he loves to make people smile. The singer/songwriter has recently said that he is working on some new music that will definitely make waves in the music industry. So be on the look out for J-Iz. He just might surprise you.

Album Release Date

Getting back in the studio

Wasup BP. This is ya boy J-Iz. I'm just here to let you know what's going on with me at this point in time. I'm about to get back in the studio and work on finishing my album. It's been a long, hard road and I'm about to do what I've been trying to do for the first time. Create my own style of music. Be on the lookout for my album dropping at the end of the summer.
