Born in Trinidad & Tobago, Guppy currently resides in Japan. He is actively performing and touring with a wide variety of musicians in various venues throughout Japan.
He is also a Steelpan instructor/educator and an ardent promoter of the steelpan Instrument.
A versatile pannist who is equally at home performing music of various genres has performing with trinidad's legendary singer, (Kitchener (Calypso / Soca).
Japan's leading artists, such as, Toku, Moria Junko (jazz), Matsuoka Naoya, Carlos Kanoh (Latin), Japan's superstar, Guitarist Char (Rock/blues) American bassist, Paul Jackson (Funk) and more....
