Black Planet What it do?!`. If by chance you have stopped by this page, please feel free to sign "The Spot". Now,I am not your shorty or your boo, nor am I lil momma. I am a woman of substance, strong and fierce! I don't have an attitude, I have standards and expectations!
Allow me to tell you a little about myself. I am a southern girl (Frankie Beverly has a song about me). I enjoy cooking, sports (football, volleyball and basketball), dancing, traveling and trying new things. I am often the one my friends call when they need a voice of reason and truth. I love to write when time permits and I can make friends with anybody! I usually surf the planet for leisure entertainment.

ME
You cannot define me, for you did not make me!
I come from a long line of sistahs who beat the hell out of adversity!

I am not a model by the standards of men, I am not a poster child for the tall and thin
But I stare back at the mirror that reflects my image and thank God that I'm happy within

I have carried children, my body tells the story, I'm not looking for an extreme makeover
I am proud of the skin that held my children, and vanity won't make me envy another

I have lived long enough to know all days won't be bright, but I smile anyway
Because I cannot change the course life, I just raise my hands and give God the praise

So man or woman, I am more than you see, you cannot see the inner beauty
If you could, you wouldn't try so hard to redefine the wonderfully & fearfully made me!

Now now now!
Men be Men, respect yourselves, your women and Your God (stop all that lying) Men if you have sons, teach them to be respectful and humble. Toughness nor pride makes a man! But honesty, noble character, humility are some admirable attributes noticed by real women! Somebody has got to marry that boy!

Parents
Every parent should want the best for their child/ren. Think about their future,,,instead of buying the latest sneakers...open a savings account and contribute regularly. I`m sure that they`ll need the money more than a picture of new shoes they had when they were four! Prosperity is not only measured by your financial status,,,, having peace abundantly is prosperity, having healthy children is prosperity and knowing that everyday won`t be a great day,,,and everyday is not the same! Now that`s prosperity!

Things I like or maybe even love *_*

1.) Spending time with family and friends

2.) The girls weekend getaways!!!!!

3.) listening to old people, so much wisdom and it's usually free.

4.) DANCING, it's good for the soul

5.) Serving others. Now let me break this down. I believe that selfless acts leads to a fulfilled life. What can I do to help you fulfill your purpose. The greatest commandments is to love God and love your neighbor! Don't believe me, read it for yourself...Matthew 22:38

Things that tick me off!!!

1.) When women say I want a man that will respect me,,,yet you show every body function you can on your webpage

2.) When brothers dog a woman out and they have daughters that see this

3.) When (some)men talk about how bad the world is, yet neglect their children, which is why the black community is in the shape it`s in!

4.) To see a woman with her nails and hair done and her children look a messy fool

5.) People who just like to be difficult

6.) Educated people with no common sense!

7.) People that think their salary compensates for their ignorance!
Intelligence....priceless! 02/21/05

8.) MARRIED men that think it's okay to have cyber relationships. The bible says, if you lust after a woman, you have committed adultery. Don't try to pacify yourself with statements like, "Well, I didn't physically have sex with her"....shame on you, especially you deacons and pastors....ministers of the word!

9.) People that are overly religious. There is a difference in being religious and spiritual. Want to know what it is? Being real! We all have imperfections, if we didn't there would be no need for Christ. Just because I listened to some R&B and you listen to all Gospel, doesn't mean you love God more than me. This is a heart matter, not a traditional one. I know Him for myself...

Where's the love

Posted

What happens to the passion after you say I do? I know so many women that are experiencing sexual neglect and no mental stimulation at all from their husbands. Is it that once we say I do, we become common with one another? Do we take for granted that we have them and their not going anywhere? I see women all the time trying to plan nice evenings with their men and not much of the opposite. Although I'm sure it happens.

Where's the attention that was given to make this... (continue reading)
