From past experiences I have been scared to love anyone
I thought my heart would be toyed with like others in the past have done
I was scared to want you more and more each day
Scared that I would drive you to want to go astray
I was scared to want you to love me as much as I loved you
and day dream about me like lovers do
As you can see you have driven all my fears away
I am flowered to know that my love grows for you every day
I yearn for your presence all of the time
But I do not get sad because it is just a matter of time
Knowing that you love me is so great, my eyes water at the thought
The joy you bring into my life is so wonderful it cannot be bought
Going to sleep each night with you on my mind
Gives me sweet dreams all of the time
Never would I have thought to ever feel this way
