New Years Prayer

Thank you Father for giving me, my loved ones, my friends and strangers a brand new year ahead.Helping us all to live the way we should as each new day we tread.

Give us gentle wisdom that we might help a stranger or a friend.
Give us strength and courage so a shoulder we might lend.

If the year 2008 ahead is empty please help us to fill it with good things.May each new day be filled with joy and the true happiness it brings.

Please give to all upon this earth a heart that's filled with true happiness, mindful peace and forever love.A gentle happy way to live with all your blessings Father from heaven above.

Father, Id like to personally thank you for helping us through this year.
Guiding us all through the many trials the struggles and the fears.

Thank you for your blessings for our families and every friend. Just one more short message to Father you wed like to send.

You have blessed each one of us as each day slips slowly by.
Given us times of laughter and been there with us when we cry.

May this new year bring us blessings of peace and may You keep giving us our daily bread. Health to our bodies, a roof over our heads.
More than that, only one thing we ask still. Please strengthen our hands, grant us true courage and good will.

Yes, we all have sinned, but your mercy we do seek. You are almighty, we are just mortal and weak. Most of our mistakes were just petty in kind.
Born of fatigue and confusion of our minds. Harshness of words towards those that are dear. Turning our backs when the needy still stand so near. Father, with your spirit our selfish souls fill.

Please strengthen our hands, grant us true courage and good will.

Help us to be strong to uphold your traditions, we plead. Strong to give aid to our brethren in need. Strong to discover the resources we have within. ile all the while being strong to be just, do right while trying desperately not sin.

Thank you Heavenly Father for your love and tender care.May the New Year bring more blessings that each and every one of us can share.
