My kamitic name is Utchamet Tabra and it means that God is the source of my thoughts actions and vital life force. The name Naisun was the best way to describe my transitional state when I was seeking truth. I am a Kamitic priestess in training who is blessed with the four elements through the presence of our moon and sun. Nai is the opposite to the sun representing the moon at night. When I bless the earth with my seeds they will be the light of my life and will bring light to everyone that comes into contact with them (sun). The "i" in the name represents the truth that every answer to my questions is inside of me. I already know the answers, but it often takes meditation, spiritual signs and time for me to realize what they are.
I have came to realize that you can only turn things around for yourself; no one else can aid you. So please stop sleep-walking your life away and wake up to live a righteous life through the wealth of knowledge.
I am currently reading The Divine Gods of Haiti, and Rites of passage: Psychology of female power by Iya Afin, Ayobunmi Sangode. The music I`m feeling right now is Bob Marley`s, Legend and Mystic, Fela Kuti`s, King of Afrobeat and Abami Eda. These are albums that have either stirred up some deep feelings that I am able to relate to or had some deep lyrics for me to contemplate on. I give props to the positive male rappers of today.
A philosophy that I try to live by is that no one else`s opinion matters but my own and my Creators` (including my ancestors), towards whatever choices I make in life. I am not on this earth to please my parents, relatives, friends or whomever because they will never be totally satisfied with anything I do. So don`t lead your life trying to please others.
My favorite singer is Bilal because that soulful brother knows just how to make a sister feel like a queen. My favorite video is Michael Jackson`s, Remember the time. I love to see anything that shows us living in the Kamitic palaces where we rightfully ruled. My favorite song is soul sister.
When Marley sang about the Buffalo Soldier, he failed to emphasize the strong woman that supported him so I am representing for all the positive females who are often overlooked. These are your mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, wives and girlfriends who struggle on a daily basis to help others with no recognition.
Men be kind and faithful to your women, for they may be your soul mate. Women appreciate and have your man`s back, for he needs your support to lead a nation. And black people be kind to each other, for you may never know when that brother or sister can be of aid to you in the future. We have to unite for the nations of this world who need us to build stronger foundations on this planet
