Life is HUGE! Let's Enjoy It! Some of you, who do not know me personally have asked me to describe myself on my page so please take the time to read what I have written and you will find out many interesting things about me. First of all, I would like to tell you the reason why I selected the name "NCFemaleruler". I was born in Connecticut, grew up in North Carolina and spent my summers visiting family in New York and the Washington DC area. Even though, I do not live in North Carolina at this time; nor do I believe I will relocate back to that area any time soon, it is nice place to live. The only way I would probably move back there is if it was my destiny to do so and it was nearing my retirement years; North Carolina is just much slower than I need right now. I also lived in Atlanta for a minute; so I want to give BIG Shout-Outs to everyone from the "A". Atlanta is a very interesting place to live with a culture much different from where I am living now; but I am glad I had the chance to experience Atlanta; I try to get back to Atlanta as much as possible to visit and hang out. NCFemaleruler is a "WOMAN RULING HER WORLD"(I`m ruling my space). Women seem to understand me regarding this, because for so many reasons, we (women) attempt to please others first, therefore, we neglect our minds, body and spirit. Well, I have learned I must be happy with myself and that`s what I`m doing, by accomplishing goals and enriching my life and others. However, all my blessings come from above, from my God; He is first. Many of you, assume that I desire to rule something. Well, you`re right, I`m ruling Me. I am not interested in ruling anyone else`s world, especially attempting to rule a man; that`s out of the question. I am a Queen; a Ruler; believe me when I tell you this. My destiny depends on my faith, my decisions, my giving and my associations. Yes, I am a very independent woman in my thinking and my personal life. I listen to constructive criticism but I am not easily influenced by anyone; my family, friends or acquaintences. Just because someone has a preference or a strong opinion towards something that involves me does not mean I will agree with it or change my mind. Likewise, I hope to continue to become more independent and responsible because I feel this characteristic is essential in today's relationships whether those relationships are personal or professional.
. I describe myself as very outgoing and ambitious. I enjoy being around positive people. I love being outside; walks in the park, hiking, fishing (a very new activity; but I like it), outside concerts, summer barbeques and pool parties, and not to mention visiting museums, etc. I plan to take a tour of the White House soon; I am really excited about this! By the way, I attended the Inauguration of our 44th President Obama at the mall in D.C. which was one of the most important experiences of my life; I will never forget it! Now, back to me, if you like playing pool; I'll play you anytime; this is one of my most enjoyable hobbies (even though I need a lot of practice). I also, took a beginner's golf lesson; it was fun; but again, I need more lessons and practice! Currently, I have started skating again. This is bringing back some good memories not to mention; I am getting my skating skills back so be patient with me please. I also love spending quiet time at home; watching my favorite television shows and netflix movies. I love romantic dinners, reading, and meditating. I am a Panthers Fan (GO PANTHERS!!!) and I am cheering on the LAKERS every year (LET'S GET IT, LAKERS!!!). My favorite college basketball team is the North Carolina Tarheels, of course.
