Why is the rate of BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT so high in America

Chicago, IL January 9, 2011

How can there be so little discussion about a full-blown epidemic of joblessness in the African-American community, as if the commonplace incidence of despair -- and reversed progress -- somehow amounts to old news?

Deteriorating inner-city, predominantly-black communities in Chicago and Detroit. In New York, a recent study found that more than one-third of African-American men aged 16 to 24 were unemployed between early 2009 and the middle of last year!

If the OJ Simpson trial outcome.....the 1st.... did not depict the situation. Then peep this, color doesn't matter any more it's all about money. Black folks on a whole do not matter to America. Perhaps financially stable and educated ones do, just like trailer park white trash has it's limitations also. BFS are only 20% of the population...The Latin community is now the fasting growing and are currently receiving mad props from the system.

how many jobs do skilled and older black folks create in the black community? Why don't we set up shop in our own communities? In york ,Asians, Arabs, Dominicans and on and on set up businesses...and hire their own or cheap labor(Mexicans). The reason there are so many unemployed black youth in our community is in large part due to us.

In essence, the Negro community has been forced into a matriarchal structure which, because it is to out of line with the rest of the American society, seriously retards the progress of the group as a whole, and imposes a crushing burden on the Negro male and, in consequence, on a great many Negro women as well.

There is, presumably, no special reason why a society in which males are dominant in family relationships is to be preferred to a matriarchal arrangement. However, it is clearly a disadvantage for a minority group to be operating on one principle, while the great majority of the population, and the one with the most advantages to begin with, is operating on another. This is the present situation of the Negro. Ours is a society which presumes male leadership in private and public affairs. The arrangements of society facilitate such leadership and reward it. A subculture, such as that of the Negro American, in which this is not the pattern, is placed at a distinct disadvantage.

in other words there is no meaning in being a male provider in the matriarch black community.
Little boys grow up seeing moms doing every thing, so when he becomes an adult what does he expect, a woman to handle financial matters.
Too many boys/young men have no solid male figure in their life to model themselves after, and a matriarch system dose not help this problem.
In terms of employment, black men are a treat or at the very least intimadate non cultured white people. We all know black names dont get call backs, and if one has a felony "smdh"...

There is no one reason for this problem nor one solution for this problem, but i can say it all begins in the home..

Sweetie CANT NOBODY STAND BLACK FOLKS OR THE BULLSHYT/DRAMA THAT COMES WITH THEM...look at how we treat each other on BP...constant jabs, snide remarks..doggin black women/men..but instead of that behaviour being shameful..depending in u -or ya clique-..u can get mad props...but unless someone speaks up..which is rare..a black divisive fool will always get a back rub...anything negative is positive with AA's

..so if we allow that shyt to happen here..with us...imagine people that dont even need to be around 'n1ggas' tryin to line up to hire em..not gonna happen..we shot ourselves in the foot and then whined about our owies..

its too much trouble foolin with black folks..not worth the headache..WE dont like each other..and nobody else does eitha
