I've overstood to condition myself to investigate, take a reality check, or just ignore with eyes on my back what I hear or see in the media.

These folks aren't trying to hear it so it behooves those aware enough to do the same. Else wise, you gone always get played because the devil is a liar.

Pre-slavery conscious black folk need to be aware of the brainwashing most other black folk have fallen victim to.

I was considering how people perceived and the media depicted street rap of the 80's and 90's like Wu-tang Clan and Public Enemy, to name a few, as antisocial. But, what I believe flew under the radar was how the mainstream media was used to perpetrate the negative imagery and propaganda that not only fueled, but skewed the "War on Drugs" to primarily lock up black and brown people in the urban centre's throughout the country. The media was also used to go after rappers like Tupac and Biggie Smalls by instigating through sensationalizing the so-called East versus West Coast feud (which most are still wondering "Where's the beef?"), but also others who dared to question the status quo like Sista Souljah and Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad.

As public figures in their own right, Sistah Souljah was vehemently attacked by (the first black) president Bill Clinton and Dr. Muhammad, was censured in the United States Senate, and the House of Representatives in a special session passed a House Resolution, the specifics of which I am not privy to at this time. Although, I don't think it had anything to do with drones.

All the while, the Just us department or whomever was waging a campaign of terror under the gauze of the War on Drugs. Many insist that it is a war on black and brown people because those responsible for the drugs major transport and distribution such as planes, ships, trains, boats and arms, are never sought. While communities with historically high (and I do mean high) unemployment and low (and I do mean low) literacy rates were targeted and suffered massive casualties, blight and devastation, promulgated by racist policies such as "Redlining," the practice of denying, or charging more for, services such as banking, insurance, access to health care, or even supermarkets, or denying access to jobs to residents in particular, often racially determined, areas. Which made them fertile grounds for "crack cocaine" to fester and spread.

So, in many cases, the war on drugs is now the war on people, outright. Now that those proverbial "Crack Babies" have now become full grown. Most won't tell you nor is it highlighted in the media...

You couldn't destroy them and they be damned to let you get their children. So some of you can just go to hell!
