AllAfrica - Liberia: 8,000 More Homes, Businesses to Get Electricity Soon




The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) is expected to connect an additional 8,000 homes and businesses in the coming months in fulfillment of government's development plan over the next 20 months.

Making the disclosure to journalists at the close of the first day session of the Cabinet Retreat in Julijuah, Bomi County on Thursday, Information Minister Lenn Eugene Nagbe said the process will begin in a few weeks with the coming on line of the 18 megawatts Heavy Duty Fuel Oil plant.
