Hmmm.. I hear u..

but this cant be to me...

In that other forum, I simply wanted to know why a woman would give birth to a child and be dependent on the ability of another person to provide for them.... Whether it be the state or a man...

Cause if I were to or was going to have a kid (and be given custody) and I wasnt sure about the mother, I would make sure that I and I alone can provide for the child and the mother's income or help would be optional, but not necessary...

I would not force a woman in my child's life that did not want to be there...

And I would not attempt to fleece her for money for the child..

I wouldnt play with my child's life like that...

I dont care what I have to do, I would be doing it... (cept murder)

There are sooooo many resources for the single mother...
Even schools provide free babysitting..
there are scholarships
There are aunts, uncles, grandparents...etc...

If Some chick did not want to pay, (without enlisting the courts) for a child that's both ours, I would just say fuk it and just move on...

for the most part NOBODY thinks about getting pregnant during the act -- so with that they gonna keep on fuggin. UNLESS he/she intends to get pregnant.

Some women do it because they don't want the luggage of a man.

Some do it before they get too old and can't get marreid nor pregnant.

Some do it because they see a man who they think will give them nice looking kids.

But none of them do it with the child's best interest in mind..

Maybe because some get the feeling that they are living their lives and are scared that if they dont produce while they can, everything dries up. Or maybe some take the scripture out of context when it says be fruitful and multiply. Its a very broad question but still a good one. Not surprised YOU asked.lol@dedicated to ron. that is too funny. Maybe if you research the brainwashing and other things our society goes through you'll see the patterns more. Especially with the things Disney teaches. Disney has been banned in some other places. It has been Disney everything for a very long time in America. How many times a day do you find yourself doing things that you have no need to be doing? The kids are developing extremely early. Wow black women be having babies from men that don't want them and thats why they're single parents. Did you ever consider in you wacked out brain that the women aren't with the men because they left? Just because a woman is single and got a baby don't mean that the man left her because women leave men just like men leave women. But of course that could never ever happen in your mind.

Really I didn't know that black women had the most out-of-wedlock babies. Because they don't! White and Hispanic women have more out-of-wedlock babies than black women but they ain't above lying on an application because they live with the baby daddy. White women shack up, unwed and spit out babies all the time but then will check married on the admission application. Hell at least black women tell the truth, if you ain't married you single whether yall shacking or not.

You need to dig your head out your asz and stop spreading this bullshiit. What you mad because you ain't got no kids or something? Cuz you sound mad bitter or are you a man posing as the ugliest female possible peddling this garbage? Either way you need to shut the fukc up.

it has become culturally customary. in OUR culture children are considered a blessing even if the mother is a 16 year old drop and the 23 year old dad is in jail. WE no longer frown upon babies oow. WE have embraced the notion that children are from GOD, not from sex.

until WE stop acting as if children are a blessing no matter what the circumstances, WE will continue to need gov assistance in disproportionate numbers.

DO THAT BABY A FAVOR, CHOOSE A GOOD FATHER!!!

Well one thing is for sure, we have the tendency to compromise and allow people, particularly men, talk or lure us into having sex. "Oh he will like me better if I have sex with him." (Low self-esteem) Or "He said that he loves me." WHATEVER!!! We have to stand for something or we will fall for ANYTHING! Today's young black woman feels the need to be loved and nurtured by a black man, particularly her father! Due to the lack of a father or father figure in the household, she reaches out to some KNUCKLEHEAD man, who is only seeking sex not a marriage! Don't misunderstand me, there are some really GOOD men out here especially BLACK MEN, but we have to learn to filter out the rift raft first!! Black women today that are missing their fathers are confusing unconditional love with the physical. As for having children outside of a marriage, it seems like in the last couple of years it has grown into a fad or something!! Like its popular to have children outside of the marriage. People forget to association having sex with producing a child because the last time I checked that was the only way to produce life. I believe that there are many factors that play into the reason why women have babies without marriage. It all goes back to what I was saying earlier, women want to be LOVED since a man can't seem to give her that nor her father she has a child who will love her. Then some women feel pressured because they haven't found their "Mr. Almost Perfect" and they strongly desire to have a baby. So, they hook up with the first thing that comes along and produce a child.

That's because most of these out-of-wedlock babies are being born to babies between 15 and 18 years of age. You see some grown adult women out here getting pregnant out of wedlock, but not that many. And they should know better, unless they're doing it intentionally for one reason or another..

Lets see.

Why do black women have sex outside of marriage?

Because we can. We have the opportunity. We want to. We like it. We want to feel loved. We want to be part of the in-crowd. We want to keep a man. Same reasons as every other female that has had sex before marriage.

Why do black women have babies outside of marriage?

Because we got pregnant outside of marriage and didn't have an abortion. Whenever you have sex, protected or unprotected, there is always the chance of getting pregnant and unless you have an abortion or a miscarriage, you will have a baby.
