I dont know if its true or not, but I wouldnt be surprised AT ALL.

Its wrong that he whooped on her, but we never know the circumstances, and honestly I think the media has blown this WAYYYYYY out of proportion.

I mean what about women ( here and in other countries) that get beat up on a daily basis??? WHere is their national (and international) outrage???

As far as we know she could have spit in his eye, and cussed his mama right before that fight,
or it could be completely unprovoked...who knows??

This is not a good example for young girls. This kind of behavior should never be see as good role models, in the black communityThis is part of the problem of our community now.

Violence should never be considered a good thing. Violence only breeds more violence. If he stays with her, he must realize she knows what buttons to push to provoke him and it's going to be hard for him to verbally express himself. This relationship is doomed. Chris needs to walk away.

the sad fact is.. if your girl spits on you, pushes u.. and is all i your face. JUST WALK away.

cause you know what???? the male will go to jail (in most cases)

@wayne there are 3 sides to a story
1-his
2-her's
3-the truth

How many women get back with someone that knocked the fire outta her azzZ?

I referred a friend to a survior's group for domestic violence, she was mentally and physically abused for 10 years..OLD girl is fugged up for real! Some sheotz she says.. is just like wtf.. are u nutz?

@brwn eyes

Girl I heard the hell out of that! I want to know too, But I think their celebrity status makes the story more intriguing than others.
____________
Although there are two sides of the story, we already established that he put hands on her. Regardless, that is some weak sht and he CLEARLY needs counseling.

@ 1001

I agree 1001! It is a TERRIBLE example. I feel for young girls who are stuck in abusive relationships. Its quite interesting to see how OUR PEOPLE REACT to things like this. It is also interesting to see how OTHER people react as well in contrast. We seem to be the only people that think its "OK" if she provoked him. What does that say about us?

@nyc
you're right
BUT

My frame of reference comes from women I know that INTENTIONALLY PROVOKE men into either having to swallow their anger and walk away (which can be painful) or react with a punch to the eye.

Were all human..even men.

If someone spit in my eye and cussed my mama Id be all over them.

If she was able to push his buttons that easily then it does say alot about him and he is definately wrong, but until we know the whole story...its hard to say.

I came out of an abusive relationship and I can admit that I was the first to put hands on HIM ( i was young and hot headed). Then he started hitting back, and it would be an all out brawl.

looking back, I can agree that once a relationship gets to the point of putting hands on each other...its time to SPLIT UP.

@Brown...

Sorry--

I have taught my son... (that if she puts your hands on you leave) fugg that ho(e).. cause she aint worth you going to jail for.. Plain and simple.. I wouldn't giva fugg if yall had 10 kids together.. the simple fact is some folks Male/Female love drama, they so fugged up in the head they think that sheotz means the other person loves you.

That's some dysfunctional sheotz.. -- I wouldn't waste my breath... and yes some mofo's love drama, arguing they love to provoke.. I dont do any of that sheotz, cause see i'm not going go there, not cause i'm scared.. just cause .. I can't be bothered with the bullsheotz. -- it's counter productive and very unhealthy..

Too many mofo's need counseling in this world.. and they dont even wanna acknowledge that sheotz.

I told my friend the one I referred.. -- you dont need to think about a new guy get yourself healed.. and learn what loved truly is cause your truly worth it.

(lastly no offense brown -- - but your azz tend to excuse mofo's too much)

LOL@ kinda amazing i dont argue huh?

haha.. - not in a relationship
not in the streets cause if it's not about my money it aint even worth it.

HERE-- If I would catch a case I prob wouldn't bother either.. cause nothing is truly that deep.. except my kids.. and my money..

Im not excusing...im leaving room for ALL sides of the story.

Do I excuse the behavior of Black folks that strive for less...hell no

Do I excuse white racist people?? hell no

what about neglectful moms/ dads? no

so what do you mean I excuse people??

That abusive relationship I was in was the FIRST AND LAST one I was ever in.

I was young, just like this couple, and it takes time to learn to control an emotion as strong as love.

@Brown..

By saying the following:

we don't know what happened etc..

It dont even matter. .. what happened..

As mothers if we love our son's we have to teach them.. Don't hit that crazy beotch cause HE WILL GO TO JAIL..

I wouldnt' giva flying fugg what he did or didn't do to her.. dude has too much to loose and yea some mofo's play the victim well.. and start sheotz.

Yes -- you tend to excuse mofo's .. More than I would even consider..

I wish they would shut the hell up about role models.. cause they are entertainers.. Not role models big fugging difference that's what's wrong with these damn kids now

I THINK IT'S CRAZY TO EXPECT ANOTHER GENDER TO BEHAVE AS U WOULD NOT BEHAVE...

IF U AS A WOMAN, HAD ANOTHER WOMAN COME TO YOUR FACE, SPIT AT U, CURSE OUT YOUR MAMA AND URE DADA, WHILE CURSING YOU AND YOUR LOOKS

I DAMN SURE, KNOW 99.9% OF WOMEN WOULD ATTACK THE OTHER WOMEN...

BUT SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY,,, THEY EXPECT THAT A MAN SHOULD [HAVE THE RESTRAINT] TO SIMPLY WALK AWAY...

LOL.. THAT AINT NATURAL AND THAT'S NOT BEING REAL..

WHEN U ARE IN LOVE THERE ARE [STRONG] EMOTIONS AT PLAY

AND SHYT HAPPENS..

WE DONT KNOW WHAT WENT DOWN

WE SHOULD NOT PASS JUDGMENT OR TELL HIM OR HER THAT HE SHOULD NOT BE WITH HIM OR HER

THEY KNOW THEMSELVES BEST AND WHAT WENT DOWN WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP...AND ALTERCATION...

with every action is a reaction..

So if you have something to loose look at it as it's not that serious.. I wouldn't giva damn what your gender is.. that's for males and female..

if a female hit you walk away.. quickly
if a man hits you walk away.

People react more than think about the consequences of their own actions.. I wouldn't go to jail, loose my kids or my freedom over the next person.. FUGG love..on that note.. cause that's not love that's some other sheotz..

That's using common sense

THAT'S THE THING..

WE ARE LIKE WHAT'S CALLED ARM-CHAIR QUATERBACKS OR MONDAY MORNING QUATERBACKS

ALWAYS TALKING [WHILE WE ARE NOT IN THE SITUATION] WHAT WE WOULD HAVE DONE OR WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY...

""OH IF IT WAS ME, THAT EXPERIENCED THIS OR THAT OR HAD THIS OR THAT MATE, I WOULD LEAVE THEM AND OR DO THIS"""

WHILE, WHEN THEY ARE PRESENTED WITH IT WITH THE SAME SITUATION AND UNDER THE SAME CONDITION, THEY DO THE SAME EXACT THING....

UNFORTUNATELY, SITTING IN THE COMFORT OF OUR OWN SEATS, BEHIND A COMP SCREEN, WHEN EVERYTHING IS CALM

IS NOT THE SAME AS WHEN U ARE CAUGHT UP IN SITUATION AND YOUR HORMONES, EMOTIONS TAKES OVER...

99.9% OF PEOPLE ARE NOT RATIONAL, CALM AND COLLECTED UNDER PRESSURE OR EXTREME EMOTIONAL HIGHS..

THE SAME DUDE TALKING THAT U SHOULD NEVER HIT A WOMAN

WOULD SLAP THE SHYT OUT OF A WOMAN THAT TOOK A STICK AND SMACK THEM ACROSS THE HEAD...

WE ALL LOSE CONTROL... FROM TIME TO TIME....
THAT IS PART OF WHAT MAKES US HUMANS

AND NOT ROBOTS

OR ALIENS FROM VULCAN.. (STAR TREK REFERENCE)

I'm sorry i'm talking bout life in general

and Yes I have been in an abusive relationship..

He tried to throw me outta a truck going 90 miles an hr. guess what? I stfu real quick.. waited til i got somewhere safe and said i'm calling the cops.

When he raped me..I didn't fight -- to fuggin light for that.. I would had bruises and no way I wanted my kids to hear that sheotz.. I just laid there when it was over he said "You better not say I raped you" .. Well mofo knew what he did.. which is why that's what he said..

For me.. -- I walk away.. I get a hint a mofo like drama I walk away.

I told my son's girlfriend.. You put your hands on my son again, cause that's my child.. I will bust your azz!.

I will go to jail for my kids.. (and my daughters told her the same thing) cause my son was taught to walk away.

I wasn't there for This thing between chris brown.. and rhinia.. so whateva.. --- my comments are based on life experience not -- anything else

Would Not of Been Me- in the 1st place.
I had a young husband- young lovers, young men & have never been hit-
Anyhow IF he hit her and she goes back, I dont wanna hear about this the next time-
Hitting is never allowed- and that should go both ways.

AND THERE U GO..

THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT

THIS WHAT APPLIES TO U... U AND U ONLY..

U CANT EXPECT FOR SOMEONE TO HEED YOUR APPROACH AS BEING WHAT'S BEST FOR THEM...

HMM.. U SAID YOUR SON IS 21
BUT U WILL [BEAT] A CHILD THAT'S AROUND HIS AGE...

A GROWN WOMAN BEATING UP A CHILD AND TO U THAT'S FINE IN YOUR EYES...

WHEN OTHERS WOULD LOOK AT U AND SAY THAT'S FOOLISH AND U SHOULD JUST WALK AWAY AND CALL THE COPS...

LOL.. SEE.. WE ARE ALL HUMANS AND ACT IRRATIONAL AND GET CAUGHT IN THE SITUATION...

LOL.. IF THAT CAR WASNT GOING 90 AND DID U WERE OUTSIDE, U WOULD CONTINUE MOUTHING OFF...

IF HE DID NOT OVER-POWER U AND IT WAS A LITTLE DUDE THAT U COULD HANDLE THAT WAS RAPING U,,, U WOULD HAVE TRIED TO KNOCK HIM OUT...

AT THE END OF THE DAY,,, I WILL REPEAT.. WE ALL LIKE TO SAY HOW WE WOULD REACT TO A SITUATION... BUT LOGIC AND BEING RATIONAL IS NOT WHAT'S IN CHARGE...

EMOTIONS TAKE OVER,,, ESPECIALLY UNDER GREAT PRESSURE OR STRESS..

god only knows why i responded to you..

AT 21 your not a child.. dear.. YOUR GROWN..
Just as I am..

NOTE - she got the point.. she kept her hands to herself.. ONCE again that's love..

and i'm sorry -- but what I said applies to me and Mine.. NOT JUST TO ME.. See that's the difference.. I had children and raise my children and guide them based on some principals.. -

1- don't hit nobody--- keep your hands to yourself PERIOD..
2- if someone goes there walk away.. (it aint that hard)

NOTE : abusers are normally men who talk alot.. of sheotz.. but anywhooo
