(OBVUS THINGS CAN SOMETIMES BE COMPLEX)

"Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed with the renewing of your mind....Romans 12:2

Hi everybody! It's been such a long time since I've actively been on this website...but at the request of one of my best friends, I've decided to rekindle this old flame, lol.

I graduated from Millikin University, and I will receive my Master's degree in December 2007. Yay! I currently live in a boring a** town, and my social life is divided between St. Louis and Chicago...no way for a 25 yr old to live, lol. I make do though.

Things I love(this list has changed quite a bit since 2001):

1) Laugh-->Why frown? There`s too much to smile about, RIGHT?

2) Read

3) Marshmallow Fruit Loops

4) HGTV

5) My four month old pomeranian. She's my little joy!

6) Stimulating and meaningful conversation
7) Current Events, Social Issues, African and African-American History & Art
8) Travel and Day Spas
9) Observing particular situations and contemplating the significance (weird, I know. God made me this way....did I mention I am  left-handed....and ambidextrious? LOL!)
10) The Honorable Judge Greg Mathis, Martin Lawrence, William Drayton (Flavor Flav)--> and in that order...3 favorite people ever
Usually after people list the things they love, they have a hate list. Well....... I do too. At first I didn't, but living in this small town...too many things eerk me now for me not to mention.
1.) Slow driving men (This town has a little over 120,000 people. How in the hell is there a such thing as traffic? Get a divorce if you're not in a hurry to get home to your wife. I have a 4 month old Pomeranian and a nice big screen tv and bed to get to!)
2.) Michael Baisden (I'm forced to listen to his show while sitting in make-believe small town traffic. This dude just can't seem to figure it out. Stay on one side of the fence and stop flip-flopping.)
Life is too precious to go around hating or disliking a lot of things, which is the reason for my short list. I was thinking about adding LIARS up there, but I would be lying about hating them. They actually keep me laughing and trying to figure out the lies...hence #9 on my love list. :) I`m a pretty passive person, and my appreciation for God giving me life each day won`t allow the foolishness of this small town (lol) and the rest of the world get in my way.

Lastly, maturity to me is more than simply reaching a certain age. Maturity to me means acceptance of reality, the ability to sacrifice and set goals, consideration of others, incisive judgement, intellectual competence, and moral rectitude. If you've made it this far, you've earned my permission to send me a note. (Does BP still call them that? LOL! It's been a while)

Hey honey, I love the page and the pics (especially those of me). Thanks for rekindling the flame and not leaving me on this crazy planet alone!
