Okay, instead of trying to tell the world who I am in one web page,
I will use the space to tell you what I am currently into. Anyone
interested in knowing anything else will just have to ask - fair
enough, right?
I am the Founder and Chief Executive of The Macot Management Group
(MMG). MMG is the holding company for several businesses:
Mascot Management - I manage an exclusive group of rappers,
singers, musicians, spoken word artists, commedians...whew...lets
just say "entertainers" and call it a day!
BoneBreaker Studios - I co-own a recording studio with my
brother. We record, mix, master, and duplicate audio and video
products. What's more: OUR PRICES ARE UNBEATABLE!!
The Cottrell-Jones Consultancy - For years, I have
+ offered advice to clients and networking contacts on what
their next business move should be (e.g. business strategy),
+ how they should look for, look at, and approach problems and
opportunities (e.g. thought leadership),
+ what they should say (e.g. speechwriting and scriptwriting),
and
+ how they should say it (e.g. editing, wordsmithing, and voice
coaching).
+ I have even delivered training and keynote addresses (as a
speaking professional)
+ ...for FREE!
These are valuable services now offered by the Consultancy...for
a fair fee.
The Cottrell-Jones Foundation - I will [finally] establish a
non-profit to sponsor two scholarships (one for my fallen friend
Sonja Johnson, another for my late Grandpa, T. C. Cottrell). In
fact, I am back in school to get my Ph.D., so the Foundation will
have Dr. Jones as Excutive Director. Just got an A last
Quarter!
So, since my last update, I have been keeping busy. However, I am
still me. I am [still] into "loud sports" (football, pro
wrestling). I am [still] into not-so-loud stuff like good
conversation and light reading. I [still] celebrate life with
feel-good stuff (like good music, food, and...).
And breakfast still rules: I make omlettes, french toast, and
breakfast potatoes, too! I have a pretty good chicken-asparagus
bisque I like to make, too (guess that's more like "brunch").
