I STRIVE TO BE A VESSEL OF LIGHT AND LOVE IN THE WORLD. Maybe that sounds a little abstract or arrogant, but where there's light there's clarity-you see things as they are. Who wants to walk through this life with shades on-seeing things that aren't there or falling because you didn't see what was right in front of you. You feel me? Sure there's room for fantasizing & creativity. Oohh the fantasies I can create! But there's a place for fantasy & a place for keeping it real. And LOVE- Love makes you smile from the deepest part of your soul & makes you shine. Love is...God exhaling the spark of life at the moment of conception. Don't we see love in the eyes of a newborn? Love is...free of fear, anger & selfishness. It gets thick & it gets heavy cause everything you strive for comes with its tests. So when it gets heavy...I mean really heavy, I do whatever I need to do to lighten up and get back to my center-I breathe deep, sing, dance, talk to my best friends or just get very still and listen to what's inside if I hear nothing or can't stop my own inner word noise I ask God for guidance & know the answer will be delivered..When it's time for me to understand-cause I know at the center of my being my TRUE ESSENCE is LOVE. I learned that relationships are all about reciprocity and compromise. That we cannot always have our way, and that if we love from the heart relationships seem to be a bit easier. It is amazing how something that is fundamentally simple can become so complex, just because no one wants to give in. It is incredible how we invest so much time to get to know a person and then forget about all the small details that made us fall in love with them in the first place. Unbelievable how human nature tends to be so judgmental, and don't realize that we usually possess those 'faults' that we so easily point out in others.
I want to love and be loved, want to believe in the 'magic' of that chemistry that makes you hear music where there is none, that makes you feel butterflies in anticipation to seeing that special person, where I get lost in the universe when I am being kissed or touched. Yes, I must admit ~ I am a fool romantic who believes in the power of love and how it elevates our lives to unimaginable places. I long for a kind of love that is pure, honest and very intense ~ that makes you feel like a teenager all over again.
