I am pretty laid back. A loving father of one little girl. I am mature and an ole soul. I love to cook and honesty cook better than most women I’ll ever meet. Endorsed by my momma she says I can throw down. I am a true romantic, affectionate, and kind-hearted.
I truly love fatherhood. I thank God for the responsibility and gift that is my daughter. She is motivation when I have no motivation, she is courage when I lack courage, and she is faith when mine may waiver. She truly has turned a boy into a man. Happily I’d give my life for her under any circumstances. Simply watching her breathing and the raise and fall of her little chest while she sleeps is precious to me. A typical evening for me may vary. I may relax and write, go dancing, or simply going out alone to a quaint quite restaurant alone and unwinding. I love a blockbuster night. Especially, on a rainy weekend a few dvd’s couple bottles of wine and chill. My hobbies include working out, reading cooking, being outdoors, fishing, eat fresh seafood (it’s a hobby in Maryland), debating current affairs, and most of all spending time with my daughter.
My negative traits are I am self-procrastinator. Meaning when it has to do with me I take my sweet time, but if I it’s for someone else I bust my ass. I like to be seen as dependable. I can be very quite when I am upset. It’s not a lack of communication I just am thinking about how I will go about handing the issue/ communicating it and want to be left alone. I do not ARGUE. Screaming and acting dysfunctional is not me. I will leave, period. My positive traits are that I am good listener, a compromiser; I know how to share, and most of all I simply treat people how I want to be treated. I am a man and still able to a rock for the woman in my life. I look forward to being her rock. I am a all or nothing man. If I love you hell you will no. If I am not into it, you will know also. I’ll tell you. I expect the same in return.

Cory up in Wichita, Kansas all his life and later moved to Washington, D.C. after attending Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma. He calls his move to Washington, D.C. from the small town of Wichita the doorway to manhood and journey of self-realization. Cory has been writing poetry since the fifth grade, when his teacher Mrs. Jones introduced poetry to him. He has been writing ever since. His abstract un-conformed views as he states are the imaginative creativity that creates his works of art from. Cory is working on his first self-published book. The erotic poetry and short story book entitled, "Sexsensual ", is a riveting journey into the realm of original artistic c sensuality, sexuality, romance, human emotion, erotica adventure of the mind. Some stories will be played and rewind only to play over again in your head. The human emotions of his characters are sometimes surreal, almost putting you in their bodies to absorb the moment. “Sexistential” is a word created and coined by the great Walter Mosley. Derived from the word existentialism, a term created during the Existential Movement during the earlier 1900’s; meaning to exist, encounter, and define ones self with no predetermined conformities. "Sexsensual” confronts and makes love to the notion that human sexuality and sensuality should be embrace and created without conformity or mental boundaries of fear.
The poem “L.I.C.K.”, found in "Sexsensual” is a masterpiece of human sexuality, and abstract creativity. He takes each letter of the word “Lick”, transforming it into journey of mental pleasure in that will leave erotic and non-erotic readers alike speechless. He manages to tie poetry and human emotion together into vivid mental paintings making you feel and become the artwork.
"Sexsensual” is a book which Cory calls, the missing link to human sexuality and sensuality. He feels it puzzles together all the human emotions in each short story or poem you’ll encounter. The book empowers men and women to not hide their fantasies or pleasure, but to journey into them and decipher their own mentality of pleasure.
Cory’s acclaimed poem, “Trees Like Me”, a powerful poem that embraces the hardship the Black lynching’s in the 1920's & 1930's during the Great Depression. It was published by the International Library of Congress and was awarded the prestigious Editor's Choice Award by Howard Ely. The poem was inspired after Cory was listening to Billie Holiday’s controversial and famous song “Strange Fruit”. It will be featured in the book he is finishing, “My Soul’s Pen” takes a journey through Black and American History and Politics, being Black man, and the Black Male and Female relationship through a vivid and unforgiving poetic eyes.
Writing under the author name Pharaoh, this fresh new voice in literature is to bound carve and create a unique style of his own with his first book "Sexsensual”.

I love spending time with family and my crazy uncles! I love my family and how real everyone is. We are not a family that ever bites our tongues and we keep things in perspcective.
