I'm a laid back type, but no couch potato, and prefer doing things together, then sitting around doing nothing. I enjoy spirited conversations as well as those silent moments where enjoying one another's company cuddling and kissing can be conversation enough; very independent but longing to share my life with that special one; I'm confident without being cocky, can admit when I'm wrong and apologize too. I'm retired military, an Army brat, work professionally in the Federal government, divorced, and a homeowner with no kids at home. I'm flexible, open minded, will love, respect, communicate, and support you for the same in return. Communication, trust, respect, tolerance, and love are key building blocks to my home. I love trying and learning new things sharing new experiences as well as showing you some of my own. Some of my interests are sports of all kids, indoors and out, I'm learning to golf, I ride motorcycles, music, movies, travel, walking or hiking in nature, and dancing. I enjoy dining and trying new and different cuisines, but also love to help in the kitchen for those ladies who enjoy and can cook. I'm convinced friendships make a solid foundation for great relationships. I'm both affectionate and compassionate, sexual and sensual. I love sending cards and flowers for no reason at all; satisfaction of her needs are just as important as mine; I prefer developing goals as opposed to forcing issues and doing things together then doing them apart, but also realize we both need me time too. I prefer a social/non-smoking, social drinking, intelligent, professional lady, lovely inside and out, laid back or high spirited, it doesn't matter as long as she's not high maintenance with flexibility being the key. Please, if you have a police record, be forthcoming and tell me. My career is very important to me, and doesn't allow particular associations affecting national security; the less secrets and drama, the better I always say. I prefer there's no young children at home, no baby Momma/daddy drama, though well mannered kids in any age are an exception I can be happy to involve myself with. Don't get me wrong, I do love kids, but mine are grown and patience has worn thin for unruly, disrespectful kids of any age, and adults alike. When home alone we're debating on how we plan on pleasing each other or sharing our time. We're also not controlling towards one another or needy realizing we both need some space from time to time and have those activities with friends that allows the individualism we brought into the relationship. I'm looking for a woman that can accept me for who I am without trying to change, form, or mold me. Having said that, I'm not so rigid that I can't be "trained" with the proper motivation :) If you're looking for a wimp, someone to tell you when and what to do...I'm not him, but cooperation, flexibility, and negotiation are the right keys. I do like to share what's on my mind and prefer an independent, career minded, but natural, classy, low maintenance, traditional kind of woman with a sensual and sexual wild streak only two can share and enjoy together. She appreciates the same in her man and communicates both verbally and non-verbally, knows when to listen, and how to make her man think he's in charge (you figure that one out...hehehe) She finds solitude, protection and comfort when her man is near, she's in his arms, or privately sharing other emotional and physical feelings. She knows it's better to resolve disagreements making love in the end and never going to bed angry. And here's a new concept ladies, this man enjoys intensely pleasing his woman first before himself, is open to new and different experiences, enjoys learning and being taught how she likes to be pleased intimately. Public displays of affection? You damn skippy! You get them constantly from this man. I'm a real playful teddy bear type in and out of public, loves showing off his lady, and lots of PDAs. If you don't like kissing, hugging, slow dancing when and where nobody is around, or in the middle of the street in front of headlamps, whispering naughty things in your ear maybe just loud enough for someone to overhear, licking my lips at you, or having your booty gently spanked or grabbed, there's a good chance I'm probably a bit too wild for you! I'll still open doors, help you under your seat at a restaurant, and help you on with your coat years into the relationship. Flowers, gifts and cards for no reason is something I enjoy. Your satisfaction and needs intimately are those shared by us. I want to be there when you need me to be and expect the same in you. Bottom line is my search is for that special one, though finding new friends is just as important. Don't assume who or what I am by my pictures, I have many looks and styles from jeans to a tux, can blend in most social situations, am religiously grounded in God, but scientifically aware as well. I know how to have fun and not take myself too seriously (life really is too short). I can't be placed in one category or another other than my own. I'm no thug, never been to jail, am a non-smoker, don't drink to excess or become violent, am drug and disease free, and do not speak in Ebonics. I judge people by their character, or lack of, and how they relate to myself and others, not by their social or financial standards. You are who you are and I choose to be the man I am, happy in myself. My list of friends is always open to expansion and hopes are she'sout there in search of me.
