Hi everybody.

I'm not here to look for love or companionship, but a good friend or pen pal is always great. I like to hear what/how other people think, whether I agree with them or not . Sometimes being here in San Diego is like being under a rock, in that we get very little intellectual stimulation here. Usually, I make it back to my hometown, Chicago, once a year to visit friends and family and also to find out what the heck is going on.  ;

I love all types of music - there is even some rap/hip-hop that I like even though, in general, I don't think it is very creative. I am creative and artistic (sometimes autistic). My hobbies include photography, writing, music, history, technology and science. I am Bilingual - Yo Hablo espanol - learned it in school and in the streets. I am a computer nerd since 1979. The first thing I ever saved my money for was a "Home computer" as they were first called.

I have a lot of curiosity, am very open-minded but have little patience for bull%#&@$!. I am more diplomatic than I used to be, but I am still just as blunt and frank as I was when I was 18. I just don't do it to shock people anymore. My biggest pet peeve is censorship: since we have heard all or most cuss words, and probably anyone looking at this profile is an adult, I hate it when those stupid symbols are put in place of my honest self-expression, which is why I left BP before. Hey editors, we're all grown! If someone gets offended, let them look away. You don't have to protect us from reality - that's the government's job. I'm also sarcastic.

So, if we are going to communicate, don't come stupid or ignorant, but I do encourage you to be your real self. 

Personal stuff: 53 year-old Sagittarius, December 9th to be exact. Unmarried, no kids, no pets. Not hiding anything, but not giving it up either.
