(NO LONG-DISTANCE relationships of any sort) Just to be upfront from the beginning I'm divorced with two bi-racial children who live with me full-time. That said, it's not ALL I am, however, it is a huge part of me (for obvious reasons). I'm very active in my children's lives and education, and I volunteer at their school. Other areas of volunteering that I participate in are Childhaven's "Brighter Birthday Club" and Washington German Shepherd Rescue (we foster dogs, and I transport and do home checks as well). One of the pitfalls, so to speak, of fostering is that it's too easy to fall in love with the dogs and, as a result, we now have three dogs of our own (2 German Shepherds and a Golden Retriever mix). I really enjoy being outside whether it be going on a walk, picnic in the park, hanging out at the beach, etc. I also LOVE to take my kids camping; it's something we tend to do quite a bit of during the summer or renting a cabin in the mountains during the winter breaks. I'm really not into to dance clubs anymore unless it's for some sort of bday celebration, etc.
