Me: There's so much more to "us" than
being born here, in America or abroad. Though most don't care to
hear or acknowledge that. I am very much proud of my heritage and
relish in making my lineage proud of my future prodigy and me. I
don't ever intend to be or try to be something I was never designed
of being. I love my "kinky" or "nappy" hair, full lips and
child-bearing hips.
Me: I N D E P E N D E N T. Maybe too much
so, but it's not without justification; "man" will forever fail
you. That is of course, a lost "man". And, as I get lost myself, I
tend to cross paths with other lost "men". God willing, I will
learn to cling to Him and wait on Him to find me and the man He as
placed here for me.
Me: R E G A L. I offer
the best and will no longer accept less. "Money is a means to an
end. However, that end will most assuredly not be happiness if you
make money rule you."-PG
Me: L E O/L I O N E S S:
I am a walking contradiction. Strong yet Weak, Soft yet Hard,
Together yet Broken, Young yet Old, Ambitious yet Shiftless, Bold
yet Shy, and Boisterous yet Composed, Arrogant yet
Humble.
I'm at a point in my life where negative
will not be allow to exist: positive, positive
positive. Think positive thoughts, speak positive "spoaks," and do
positive doings. God is good, all the time; all the time, God is
good: know it, believe it, trust it, walk it, and live it.
Food for Thought:
1. "Satan doesn't care so much if you're a
'Christian,' as long as you don't act like one. Jesus calls
believers to be 'salt' and to 'Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is
in heaven.'" St. Matthew 5:16 - Joe Stowell
2. "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with that judgment ye
judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall
be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is
in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine
own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the
mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and
then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy
brother's eye." St. Matthew 7 1-5
3. "Beware of false prophets,
who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous
wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes
from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles?" Matthew
7:15-16
4. "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves
will come among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among
yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away
the disciples after themselves." Acts 20: 29-30
Proverbs to Live By:
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an
abomination to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that
shed innocent blood, a heart that devise wicked plans, feet that
make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies
and one who sows discord among brothers. - Proverbs 6:16-19
(ESV)
If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be
thirty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire
upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee. - Proverbs 25-21-22
(KJV)
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your
neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win
favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. - Proverbs 3:3-4
(NIV)
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
- Proverbs 17:17 (KJV)
