Gwen West

As President and CEO of Good News Communications, Gwen West has brought Christian programming into numerous homes. Out of her concern that many of the people in the area were not always able to attend church on a regular basis and were missing this valuable life experience, Good News Communications was formed in July 1994.

Presently, residing in North Miami Florida, Good News Communications has created a venue whereby viewers can tap into Christian programming that restores and refreshes their faith on a daily basis. As Miami is one the largest sprawling communities in the country where transportation is a must, it is also home of one of the largest elderly populations in the county, comprised of senior citizens who sometimes find it difficult to get around town more-less than to get to church. Realizing that in all honesty, regular televised programs seldom touch on matters that are close to the heart or build up ones faith, Gwen sort an avenue whereby the community could be strengthen by connecting churches and the home through church sermons that are recorded during church services around the state. It is through these daily-televised church sermons, often from the churches that some of them attend, that a void in the lives of many viewers in the community is filled, not just the elderly.
