In 2006, my brother and I formed AKP Entertainment. Primarily, we are a music production and artist development company. We also are looking to expand into community projects as well. We have over 200 tracks completed as of March 2007 and are currently developing a group called Kriminel Mindz. This is a fledgling company, so we are looking for investors, sponsors and a little friendly advice. Networking is key to the success of any business, so correspondence is always welcome. I have had several " careers " in my 31 years so that experience has been invaluable in this venture. I have had extensive on the job training in marketing and management. We have a clear vision and game plan which is essential to any business growth and development. In terms of community projects, we are developing a series of events called " Waffles n Fish". In partnership with Ernie Lucas, we would like to provide a safe and controlled environment in which low-income communities can enjoy concerts and good eating as well. Sponsorship and investors will be key to providing these services. We aim to build strong community ties as they are the ones who keep any business afloat. With the music production, we are aiming for the 18 to 25 demographic, Our community events are for everyone who loves music and good eating. Currently our music is featured online at whosnextonline.com. In April 2007, we will be offering music products on spityogame.com for aspiring artists in search of instrumental tracks to develop their own demos or albums. Also in April 2007, hope to become a LLC, which will provide a more comfortable financial environment for investors and sponsors. We have been rated five stars by listeners on whosnextonline.com which is administered by Emmis Communications, the company that broadcasts HOT97 in New York City. AKP Entertainment also maintains two active sites on MySpace. We are actively searching for new talent in the GA, NC, and NYC areas. We also have two locations, one in Suwanee, GA and in Wilson, NC. Our goals are to build a successful corporation, and provide quality sound for quality artists. Once again, we are looking for investors and sponsors at this time, and quality and positive input is always welcome. We look forward to hearing from all of you.
