Maybe this sounds familar to you and the path you have taken. Parents always say to be successful you need to go to school and get a great education. Once you get your degree you will get a great job and life will be secure. Were you told to go into healthcare or computers to make a good living?
I went into healthcare because it is a job that will never go away. There are thousands of opportunities in this field. What was left out was the headache a boss can be. What they forgot to tell me was the fact that a boss is a double SOB smelled backwards. A job means just over broke.
So I left Corporate America because I was tired of the over bearing boss that knew less than me but got paid more than me. I decided to open my own business. Chey Chey fashions was opened in 2002 and closed in 2007. Those five years were growing pains for me but I will never regret being my own boss. The freedom was the best.
Unfortunately I returned to Corporate America and the feelings returned. I was not satisfied working for a pay check. I needed so much more. My heart ached to be fulfilled in doing something I loved. This will be my last job. I will be retiring from Corporate America June 2010.
I was introduced to network marketing. I am now a business owner again. I get to help others start a business. I am able to provide a service that is needed by everyone but known by less than 1/3 of the population. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to leave working for someone else and be my own boss.
