Randy Kearse, author, motivational speaker and mentor of at risk youth. Served 13 years, 6 months and 2 days in federal prison. He returned to society with a new perspective, a fresh focus, and strong determination to succeed. Born and raised on the streets of Brooklyn, N.Y. Randy grew up in Farragut housing projects. His story, work and message provide people with a formula to turn a negative situation into a positive opportunity.

My life isn't that kind of story based on poverty, a dysfunctional family or having a lack of opportunity. No it's a story about someone who was offered every opportunity in life to become whatever he wanted to become, but instead chose the bright lights of the streets and the street fame that came with it. It's not an easy story to tell, filled with heartache, pain, and suffering, I caused a lot of hurt to others and to myself.

My story is also about redemption, overcoming adversity and the challenge to change. A testimony to the strength of the human spirit and how God's plan moves all of us through the good, the bad and the ugly. Had it not been for God's mercy I would not be here today telling my story .. How I, Randy Robert kearse is today using my experiences, the lessons I've learned from the mistakes that I've made to uplift, educate and empower people. Especially young people as they navigate the complex issues facing them in the streets everyday. Issues that send so many of our people to prison or the morgue.
