Hello BP Ladies, I am a single brotha looking to see what BP has to offer. This time of year I tend to spend more time in the house relaxing and watching a good movie or checking out Law and Order. I am always willing to make a new friend and to have someone to chat with from time to time, so Ladies if you have the same interest, don't hesitate to send a note and show some love in my guestbook so that I can get back with you. I am always down for a good conversation.
I have a request of my sista's in the year 2007 and that is that if you have any negative words in your page that are directed towards the black male, remove them. The black male reads and hears enough about himself from a daily basis to last him a lifetime. In this day and age, brotha's are going through the same drama as the sist's, probably even more but you couldn't tell from the notes in our pages. Everyone knows the dirt that SOME men do, but everyone also know the dirt SOME women do. But neither deserves to be put down in public. When you put one black male or female down on here, you put them all down because that the way people see us, as all being represented by the one's who do bad. If you want to send a message to your brota's and sista's, say something positive because that is what they really need to hear. Take time to sit and talk with the young men in your lives. Take time to sit and talk with the young ladies in your lives. It does no good to speak to one and not the other, lift them both up. I know your bags are heavy and your arms are tired, and I wouldn't hesitate to carry them the rest of the way for you but first lets sit and see if we can lighten the load by taking some of the old stuff out that you have been carrying because you just couldn't bring yourself to put down. It will make OUR walk much more pleasant.
