What`s tha deal BP? I'm back, I've been gone for a while, and a lot has been going on since my hiatus, but it's all good, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?


Well well, what can I say about myself? I`m pretty laid back (unless you piss me off...but then again, I think that`s the way a lot of people are). I havent updated my message in a short, so I decided to let you all in on what`s been up with me lately.

I've gone through some things...had some success and failure...trials and triumphs..I've matured and I've learned that life is just too short to sweat the small stuff. I've lost many friends and some family in the past year, and I always knew that life was precious, but losing someone you love makes you appreciate life that much more...I know what I want out of life, and I'm working hard to get it...but at the same time I take a little time out to enjoy the simple things in life...a nice tight squeeze from someone you love; a child's laughter; playing in the rain...you cant bring anyone back once theyre gone, but your memories are forever...so take advantage of the time you have, use it wisely, because tomorrow is not promised....

I`ve visited many pages here on BP, and so many people are hung up on the physical attributes of the people they choose to associate with. Don`t get me wrong, if you want to begin a relationship with someone, there should be something that catches your eye and keeps you interested until you really get to know them, but beauty or brawn without brains leaves what? An empty person with a fantastic shell...moving right along...

Fellas, FYI (For Your Information, in case you don`t know): There are still some "good girls" left out here - but dont say you want someone who is honest, faithful, Ride or Die, a classy woman in the streets but a freak in the sheets, etc. etc...if you are not willing to bring forth those same qualities and attributes from your end of the table. I`m tired of guys asking for perfection in heels, or Filet Mignon in a relationship...when all they want to give is a McDonald`s Happy Meal at best...one thats 2 days old and missing the toy...lol

Seriously though, I`m not bashing all the guys, I also know that there are good guys out there. I`m a hopeless romantic, a hard worker, I`m Independent (don`t think like Destiny`s Child; I just mean that I dont wait for things to come to me, If I want it I go get it..and I DO know how to ask for help should I need it, although sometimes its dificult for me to). I don`t have any kids, although I love to be around them...(kids are so funny, don`t they say the darndest things?)

I know how to treat a man; I`m striving to be that Virtuous Woman (Proverbs 31:10-31, check it out).I can be all you need if you allowed me to be. I`m the best friend, the Lover, and the Confidant...I know what it means to be supportive when the chips are down and theres no where else to go but up; I dont mind showing and telling my man how much I love him; We ladies dont have to be stupid and try to win or buy love..if you have to do all of that for attention and/or affection thats not love..there`s a thin line between love and lust. I may not be a model, but I love and take care of myself, thats all that matters...good things come in small packages.. :)Whoever chooses to be with me will accept me for me, and thats what`s important.
If you have your priorities in order, believe me, I have no problem holdin things down for you and keepin you happy, but if you`re still in "PLAYER", "DEPENDANT", or "MOOCHER" mode, i`m not the girl for you.

Now that you know what I`d like in a relationship, if you`re interested you must know that there is another man in my life, and he`s not going anywhere...

Jesus, you`ve picked me up when I`ve fallen; carried me when I was too weak to stand; so I thank and praise You for that. I`ll never turn around...

That`s all for now, gotta run...if you want to know more about me, just ask...if I want to tell you I will...If I don`t want to tell you, you`ll just have to wait until I do :o)
