My name is Rev. James Porter, As of the 17th of October 2010 I became the Pastor of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Yuma, AZ. I am the past Pastor of Truelight Missionary Baptist Church of El Centro, CA. I'm also the 2nd Visce Moderator of the South West Baptist District Association of the Westren State Baptist Convention of the West.
I am married and have two children. My wife, Angela works for the State of California. My son, Marshaun, attended Oregon University where he plays football as a wide receiver. (No. 5) He played in the December 1999 Sun Bowl and his team (Oregon University) won. He played in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego on Dec. 29, 2000 and won. He has play football with the Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants in the NFL. He has since gone back to school to complete his Masters in Counseling.
My daughter, Jamie is a high school grad and currently weighing her options.
