What a person wants depends on who he/she is:
A broken person wants a fixer.
An immature person wants a mommy/daddy figure.
A user wants someone who’s vulnerable that he/she can use.
An abuser wants a punching bag or a doormat.
A broke (unmotivated) person wants someone who’s going to financially sponsor him/her.

A person in a healthy mindset is looking for a partner, a place of peace, an accountability partner, someone to laugh with, share experiences with, someone who’s humble, has manners, and makes them feel valued as much as they values themselves.

Until you love and accept yourself you will find people who are attracted to the insecurities in you that drive you to look for others to love you in the ways that you don’t.
