Lately, I've become increasingly aware of how distanced my children are from their toddling, diaper-wearing, totally dependent infancies. They're definitely capable of walking on their own now, and thankfully the diaper expense has left the budget. As for the totally dependent thing? We're still working on that one. or is Samuel L. Jackson the Hollywood go-to guy for angry black men roles? Though I haven't seen the movie, the pop-up ad for his recent effort, "Lakeview Terrace", made me start thinking along this thread: When Hollywood producers want to have an angry, screaming, emotionally volatile African American male in their picture, who do they call on?
