Good afternoon my beautiful Kings and Queens.

The African martial arts are among the largest variety of martial arts on earth. In fact African martial arts are also the oldest and was practiced over 30,000 years ago in the Aquatic Civilization of the Sahara (Zingh Empire ). The earliest African martial art was probably wrestling and various forms of hand to hand combat. Later on, kicking and other forms were added. Stick and pole fighting as well as weapons came in later. AFRICAN MARTIAL ARTS FROM THE TIME OF EGYPT TO TODAY: The oldest and longest practiced martial arts on earth today are Nuba wrestling and Hikuta (the martial arts used to protect the Pharaohs of Nubia and later Egypt (Khemet). Hikuta is a lightening fast martial arts that applys force on particular pressure points that lead to immobilization. Nuba Wrestling is the ancient art found among today’s Nuba (in Sudan) who still practice this art as a test of initiation into manhood.

Kemetic Knowledge and Truth

Before Trevon Martin there was "Little Bobby Hutton."

Bobby Hutton joined the Black Panther Party at the age of 16, in 1966. On April 6th, 1968, when he was 17 years old, he was traveling in a car with a few other Black Panther members when they were ambushed by the Oakland police. They ran for cover in a building nearby. When the police finally threw tear gas into the building, Hutton stripped down to his underwear so that the police would know he was unarmed and he walked out. The police shot him 12 times....

#BekaNefer ( Good morning ) My #Netert ( Goddesses ) and #Neteru ( Gods )  ( plural of Divinity )

Black love is not dead, but it is on life support... what's needed is understanding the systems of the living love our ancestors dedicated their lives to. Rites, rituals and observances enabled the certainty that boys and girls had become adults and were ready for that highest commitment. What we are is a culture of grown up sized children playing house.

Kemetic Knowledge and Truth

“European standards of beauty are something that plague the entire world-the idea that darker skin is not beautiful, that light skin is the key to success and love. Africa is no exception. When I was in the second grade, one of my teachers said, ‘Where are you going to find a husband? How are you going to find someone darker than you?’ I was mortified. I remember seeing a commercial where a woman goes for an interview and doesn’t get the job. Then she puts a cream on her face to lighten her skin, and she gets the job! This is the message: that dark skin is unacceptable. I definitely wasn’t hearing this from my immediate family-my mother never said anything to that effect-but the voices from the television are usually much louder than the voices of your parents.“

Kemetic Knowledge and Truth

"This statute is known as ‘Redemption Song’ is located at Emancipation Park in Kingston, Jamaica,

Opened in 2002, in New Kingston, Jamaica's Emancipation Park is a tribute to the history of the people of Jamaica from Slavery Bondage to Independence. The Independence Monument was designed by Kamau Kambui. The statue is of a nude male and female with water flowing over the base and was done by Laura Facey, with the assistance of about 100 artisans and craftsmen. The majority of the material used to create the park are of Jamaican origin and indigenous to the country.

I am the part you want
recognize.
But get use to me.
Black, Confident,
Cocky; My Name, Not
Yours; My Religion, Not
Yours; My Goals, My Own;
Get Use to Me."

Kemetic Knowledge and Truth

Why it is important for us to vote. Our Ancestors paid dearly for the Right.

"It is said that we are ignorant; admit it. But if we know enough to be hung, we know enough to vote. If the Negro knows enough to pay taxes to support government, he knows enough to vote; taxation and representation should go together. If he knows enough to shoulder a musket and fight for the flag for the government, he knows enough to vote ....What I ask for the Negro is not benevolence, not pity, not sympathy, but simply justice.

~ Only days after General Lee surrendered at Appomattox in April, 1865, black abolitionist Frederick Douglass spoke before the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society. In his speech, Douglass explained why the black man wanted the right to vote “in every state of the Union”:
