I am the sole proprietor of Durtylung Productions. I am Terrence "skeeme_" Hillman (formally known as d/p LOVV - see why I changed the name?! LOL) My current release is the 4 track E.P. called, "The Ruff Demo." It's leading to the forethcoming L.P. "Ruff X's" which has the message that an artist has hard times like anyone else, and I wanted to share some of mine with the audience. I'm hoping to have a good following as I produce, write, play percussion and keys (mostly by ear...) and program Rap and R&B music. Pretty much, just starting out on my own as I used to be with a group called Born Rugged. I'll tell you all more about that later. Currently am working on a couple projects, one being my own, second - I'm looking for serious artists for a compilation project using my music as the power tool to open eyes and minds to a new vision, also can make you dance! Another project I'm working on is my friend, Dannell McNeil, a poet, songwriter, vocalist and producer. I've known this brother for over 15 years, and he's got a dynamic single called, "Single Daddy," that's in the works of being released to the public in a few! Keep and ear open for it, won'tcha?! Past projects I've worked on are folks you may or may not've heard of, one being Apostle, a mainstay of Colorado originally from Sac Town, California. Another group 187 G's, straight up gangstas from around the way, which are no longer together unfourtunatly. It's hard out here in Denver to make it as a rap/ R&B act. We have to pick up our s**t and go elsewhere, but we've yet to have someone come from here and say that they come from here (hint, hint...) Those people know who they are, I'm not saying ANY names. My sound i dub, "The Rocky Mountain West Sound," is not quite like the s**t you hear on the radio now. The stuff I'm working with has a real message without being too preachy. Bangin' head-nod tracks using a lot of piano textures, mad bass, real guitar and percussion, and to top it off - thought-provoking lyrical content.
