First let me say hello BP! I really don't frequent any site. That is until now. I guess I held onto the old fashioned thing as long as I could(smiles). But since I spend so much of my time alone in this studio, I sometimes need a break. What better break than to be able to travel the world and marvel at all the beautiful flowers while still sitting at my piano! You see, a woman to me is the flower of the universe. Your beauty and aromas tantalize the senses like nothing else ever could. You and Almighty God provide my greatest inspiration when I'm writing. But then there's that irresistable urge as a man........"I think I'll pick one." That flower then inevitably dies when you don't have the time to nurture it, and winds up being pressed between the pages of a bible as only a faded reminder of it's beauty. No, I'm only here to take in the beauty in it's most natural state. Free, alive and breath-taking. Maybe someday I'll be awakened by a wonderful aroma to find my very own beautiful flower beside me. But that'll only happen if she decides that's where she wants to grow. Who was it that said, "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was"? So, until then I'm happy being the best friend you ever had, because it's friendship that is the fertilizer that feeds a growing love. And......as another very wise person once said, "It's better to be good friends than bad lovers. Lots of love. And don't forget to sign my guestbook. My parents always taught me to speak when I enter the room!(Big ol' smile) Addendum: Well, I've been here a few months now and I have to admit I've met some very awesome people. Of course there's the occasional knucklehead, but the taste of bitterness always makes the taste of sweet that much more pleasing. For those of you who visit my simple page it's my desire that you leave feeling better than you did when you came. Simple as that. I don't have any wonderful poetry or glitter. Just the honest words from my heart. It's my hope that'll be enough to kindle a friendship. And.......I just HAVE to include these two things. Young ladies, please don't leave your nude bodies on my guest page. There are people of outstanding character who I hope will visit me and the last thing I want is for them to open the door to my place and see all your glory! I have enough seniority to understand just how temporary that body you think so much of is. Imagination is still the most potent aphrodisiac. Real lovemaking begins long before you ever get to the bed. If we begin at your body, what's left? And fellas please, unless you're a long lost buddy who just wants to let me know he's here, you're not welcome. Don't share with me your recipe for success. Been there. Done that. Got the T-shirt. With that I'll leave you with the motto by which I live. The words are my very own but they should be yours too. "The most challenging foe you will ever face is the one in the mirror.
