IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE BY TRYING TO POST MATERIAL ON OR MAKE FRIENDS WITH THIS SITE IF YOU ARE NOT A SMOOTH JAZZ FAN, MUSICIAN, PROMOTER, BROADCASTER, PUBLISHER OR VENUE! I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF POSTING ON AND FRIENDING OF OTHER PAGES BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO INTEREST OR RESPECT FOR WHAT THE PAGE HOST IS DOING OR TALKING ABOUT. THAT WILL NOT BE THE CASE HERE, BECAUSE THIS PAGE IS FOR NETWORKING WITH SERIOUS SMOOTH JAZZ FANS, MUSICIANS, MEDIA AND INDUSTRY PEOPLE. WHATEVER YOUR THING IS...DO IT, BUT NOT HERE...AND THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND ENJOYING THE MUSIC AND VIDEOS.
LOL,

I starting playing Smooth Jazz on the radio under the name "SMOOTH 91.7" from 2003-07 at non-commercial WLFR-FM 91.7 at Richard Stockton College(just outside of Atlantic City in Pomona, NJ) because the Smooth Jazz was disappearing from local radio stations. My priority was then and still is to play a dizzying variety of Smooth Jazz artists both well-known and unknown, with very little repetition, and also to build up a circuit of locations where the Smooth Jazz audience can enjoy live and up-close performances while "meeting up" with other Smooth Jazz fans and the artists themselves.
If you live (or visit) in Southern NJ and like live entertainment but settle for a movie or DVD more often than you'd like because there's no Smooth Jazz on local radio, you might be interested in joining with SMOOTH JAZZ 4 SOUTH JERSEY(SJ4SJ) and helping to establish a listener-supported program of radio and live performances "that won't desert you" in the middle of the night.
Here's a listing of some of my numerous web pages, where you will find plenty of Smooth Jazz music tracks and videos, plus updates on how you can Get On The Smooth Jazz Love Train...if you know what's good for you!

In light of radio industry abandonment of Smooth Jazz fans in the markets of South Jersey, Philadelphia, Wilmington, New York and Baltimore...and even Atlanta and Miami...I am on a mission of establishing SMOOTH JAZZ 4 SOUTH JERSEY(SJ4SJ) as "The Smooth Jazz That Won't Desert You!", a unique and independent Smooth Jazz radio, internet and cable TV presence to serve and bring together the tens of thousands of Smooth Jazz aficionados in Southern New Jersey and the surrounding region(PA, DE, MD, VA). SJ4SJ will have at its core promoting and perpetuating the presence and enjoyment of Smooth Jazz by entertaining and networking and socializing with fans, musicians, promoters, sponsors, presenters and media.
To accomplish this, SJ4SJ aims to develop a "4"-pronged approach, namely: (1) Smooth Jazz Radio/Intenet programming (2) Nightclub performances and summertime festivals (4) Fan-based social network of membership and sponsorship (3) Annual Smooth Jazz expo
With that being said, SJ4SJ needs and invites your individual Membership support as music fans and artists, as well as Advertising and Sponsorship support from entrepreneurs, businesses and corporations.
Sincerely, Dorian-G
