Whenever I make the time to post a blog to this site, I sit and let the events of the world marinate in my mind to find material. I try not to get heavy or condemn anyone for something that is personal to them, i try to keep these things to the things that are isolated to me and my world as not to offend anyone. Coming from a pre-cellphone, pre-internet generation, adapting to the times takes some getting used to. As a single dude at 40 plus, I am very particular. I know what I want and what I will settle for, but when I settle let it be understood that it is not necessarily what I want and if such a thing comes along I may pursue. I have gotten critisized for this attitude. Some have called me shallow, others have said it was my insecurity that drove such actions. I say that I am pass a point to accept what I may not be totally happy with - and I am good with it.
