personal message

Peace to all that take the time to view this page. My name is Everett. I am a representative of Price Enterprises, a non-profit that is in the process of building with conscious Black people in order to envoke positive and effective change in our society. We at Price Enterprises feel that life is priceless. We are spiritual beings who  know that God is real and that prayer works. We are looking for spiritually inclined, positive, and ambitious enlightened minds. We are looking for inner-beauty deeper than any eye can see. We are looking for those that don`t take life for granted and live every moment in thanksgiving. We are looking for self-reflective souls who aspire to unfold with each waking moment the inner visions of their deepest dimensions: virtue, love, and self-determination. Here is a glimpse at our "Essence".

Essence

I am the vision of Blackness
The color of night
Magnified in contrast
Inclined to see the light

I am the sound of resistance
The tune of transformative years
Every note more intense
Than a symphony of tears

I am the wealth of destitution
Of greater value than gold
A commodity of revolution
Too precious to be sold

I am the soul of my ancestors
A legacy that will never die
In all of my endeavors

The Infinite is my guide

Before we can be united as a people, we must first look inside our individual selves and understand that we are reflections of the Most High. We must know our respective histories, we must have a working understanding of the ways of this world in order to envoke positive and effective change. We must be "Enlightened".

 Enlightened

Enlightenment is the process of reflection.
As unchanged mentalities and perceptions are questioned
And miseducation is revisited with critical investigation,
Reality unfolds, other stories are told;
For reality is relative to individual and collective depictions,
Which expose skewed ideals and contradictions
Offering consideration of minority appeals and all encompassing diction.

In order to paint the proper picture,
One must undergo analysis of Divine Scriptures
Acknowledging existence as persistence.
As manifestations of the spiritual realm
Enhance vision with precision,
We may see more clearly with our eyes closed
And our souls exposed.

The agency through which we invent ourselves
Is a process of transformation.

For all those that don`t know: THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED! THE REVOLUTION IS NOW! This next piece is inspired by all those who know the difference between Freedom and Liberation. Freedom is granted; liberation is taken. This poem serves to explain how there are always strings attached to freedom, which is ironic because it really ain't free. And that's the title of this poem, "Freedom is Not Free."

Freedom is Not Free

Is it me, or does freedom await those who are bogged down in depression. For no fault of their own, they are victims of subliminal madness of the mind; advised but with no discretion. They awake to media induced with singular insinuations of imperialism, biases that single out status quo conditioning and deviate from intangible moments of humanity. Even in their dreams they are reminded that there is deceit and deception in control of corporate greed and the seeds that we feed on are the seeds of monopolies. When will freedom ring; when will the equality so hailed in our national pledges be manifest? This is what I request in my moments of silence. I tell you, silence is golden, like all the resources that were stolen from promised lands of Africa. Well, I have learned and continue to ponder that freedom really ain't free and I say that tasting a little bit of victory because of what I understand my destiny to be... REVOLUTION!

The tools of revolution as I see them are: Solidarity (Community); Cooperative economics(economic development); Liberation of the mind (Self-determination, Scholarship); Divine guidance (Meditation and Prayer); and Creativity (that we would be able toconceive of an entirely new methodology)

Evolution is what we are here for! Respect and Reallocation for and of the land and creation! Solidarity amongst all people of color! And Revitalization of the Community! Be the best You that You can be!

Too Blessed to be Stressed! by Everett Price

Stresses are social, psychological, or physical conditions to which we cannot readily adapt. This results in psychological or physiological tension that can lead to illness " (p. 24, Kaiser Mental Health Center Rehabilitation Services Department Manual on Stress Management) Upon reading the stress management manual, I became convinced that I could greatly improve my life 1) by enhancing my consciousness regarding the sources and symptoms, 2) by improving my ability to respond to stress, and...
